And rumoured State of Play at Sep 24th, while the PS5 Pro pre-order opens on the Sep 26th, I think they will go all out in that State of Play, there is no matter time to convince people to get a PS5 Pro.
I am getting too old to wait for this wait for that. I didn't work my ass off to hold back on purchases for months or even years.
Day one for me, I understand what I am getting, even top of the line PCs can't do most games in 4k 60fps with RT on, why would I expect this $700 console to be different?
Woke is not the main problem... Ubi games are just so boring now...
I am pretty sure it is hardware limitation, it is not a feature that has any sort of true selling point, there is absolutely no reasons why it would be beneficial for Sony to purposely not give it to OG PS5 if it is possible.
PlayStation needs competition I agree... but not from the current state of MS. They need someone that actually know what they are doing.
Phil Spencer... sigh...
@Obscure
Of course you can't wait for it... lol, we all know. Literally whatever Xbox does, you can't wait for it. By the way, they just fired another 650 staffs, of course it is the best decision ever made too, right?
They didn't ripped it apart.
I was 100% going to get it before the price reveal... went down to 51% after I know about the price, and actually back to 85% after I watch this video... I think I will likely get it.
Yes, it looks very creative and clean looking as well.
Even if it is true, Sony has no right to dictate whether a third party would provide a update for free or not.
I think it was the same for PS4 Pro.
What people don't understand is, getting a consumer to buy the first PS5, they can sell as a lost, hoping to get the money back from software sales.
But convince a PS5 user to get a PS5 Pro is pointless unless they make extra money right away.
That being said, the cost is steep, I was gonna get it day one and now I am hesitating...
If MS is being smart, announces all of their games as PS 5 Pro enhanced and then sell shit tons of games instead of releasing a new console.
It is not PS6, it is an optional upgrade for people who want the best, no one is robbing anyone. We are in the era where a damn phone is $799+, and people upgrade when your old phone can do 99% of what you actually need.
Am I happy with the price? No, but no one is forcing me to buy it, my PS5 can still play every games they will release this gen.
If that is the price of PS6, then it would be concerning, but it is not. Pro is always an optional upgrade. You want it, you buy it, if you think it is overpriced, skip it.
So you prefer a small upgrade over a big upgrade? I don't quite understand your statement.
@Obscure_Observer
I... I am speechless... your "insight" never cease to amaze me.
Wow... working hard to throw out random negative posts on PlayStation, trying to counter the successful Astro Bot launches I assume.
Almost as if someone got paid to release negative articles for Sony on the day of a masterpiece launch. But I must be delusional, has to be a coincidence.
Nah, it makes sense to do it this way, let the negative press to die down a bit first. Then show you all the must have games, make you pre-order PS5 Pro as an impulse buy.
If they announce the games first, then the price announce would kills all excitement right away.
