I think one of the worst things for PS5 is having the ability to swap plates but making them not compatible between models. And some plates were impossible to get... like the Spiderman PS5 plates.
Xbox is indeed dead, hardware went down by 29%. Revenue has of course grown, because they have more popular franchises now with the acquisition.
Anyways, just saying, having illusion that xbox is doing super well would only send them to grave faster. Xbots should keep demanding more good games!
@Puty
I don't like this move, and I don't like some of the decision they made, but PlayStation is still by FAR the best place to game. I am waiting for my PS5 Pro to arrive to replay some of the classic.
Shitty decisions by executive doesn't change the abilities of their amazing game studios. Sure, the live service direction wasted a lot of time, but at least we know their next game will still be amazing.
It is not obvious at all...

The looks literally the same size from this POV. And they can both use the slim disc drive, which wouldn't be possible if they shapes are different.
I agree...

I only had the $15 dollar option left, redeemed three times to use up my points yesterday.
I am a Sony fanboy, but this is not cool, if they want to remove it, at least give people plenty of time to redeem first.
While it might seems obvious, I actually wasn't sure. Because the PS5 Pro can use PS5 Slim Disc Drive, which suggested both machines share similar shapes. I actually thought the Pro is only thicker and taller (by those extra strips) so it can use the same plates.
Good job, and it only costed them 80+ billions.
@Obscure_Observer
You were just saying "I never cared about this garbage franchise. All I want from it is to make big money to fund our Xbox first party games!"
So, is this a "garbage franchise" or "high quality game of this caliber"? Or you just make shit up every story just to make xbox looks good?
I need RDR2 on PS5 Pro.
He will just say something along the line of... "That is fantastic, now XBox has more funding to develop games on GamePass. Day one for us, xbox gamers eating good."
I don't mind live service as long as it is not the main focus... and learn from Concord, please go the opposite direction, think about your user base. I want badass and beautiful characters!!
@andy85
That's just how Obscure react. XBox stuff auto jump to "insane" level even if it is crap.
Not saying this is crap though, try if I still have my Gamepass by the time it releases, my pass ending in a month, not likely to renew. Have only played hand full of games in 3 years, I am biases though so I always play on PS if I can, no going to pretend I am not.
If Wuchang turns out to be good, I will buy it and play it on...
Not for everyone, some people don't want to replay, but it is a lot of improvements for $10.
I don't mind remakes but at least pick games that have high demands.
@TheEroica So you prefer it doesn't enhance ANY existing games and no games take advantage of it until the next first party game release?
Then make better games... Not these brain dead repetitive open world games with XP booster...
@Profchaos
I am not saying PS5 is bad, but I never play in performance mode because of the lower resolution. It is blurry for most games, especially comparing to the fidelity mode.
I am just saying if that doesn't bother you, then you don't need PS5 Pro because you can just play in one of the two modes.
For me, I want both, so I will get a PS5 Pro.
Get PS5 Pro for both, if you just want 60fps and doesn't care if the graphic is blurry then you can stay with PS5.
Planning to finish FF7 Rebirth when I get my Pro, then likely Dragon Age: The Veilguard first, and after that would be Hogwarts Legacy, and will replay the first party stuff in this order...
1. The Last of Us Part I
2. The Last of Us Part II Remastered
3. Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
4. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered
5. Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales
6. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
7. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
