Day one!! It is not cheap, but I worked hard to afford things like this, I will be happy to know that I have the most powerful console for the next three years at least.
I always find these labels useless, ps3 can do 8k 120fps if it is NES graphic. It always depends on how the developer use the resources, those labels merely mean the highest output that the hardware can do, which is pointless to most customers.

Whatever method that is, likely only possible with the exact Decima engine.
And also better image quality than PSSR doesn't mean it is more efficient, if for some reasons they want to push for more effects on screen in the future then they cannot afford to upscale with the gpu and need to use PSSR instead. Dedicated hardware (PSSR) is always more efficient because it doesn't take away any resources.
I missed Ghostwire when it was on Game Catalogue, will play it this time... too bad Tango Gameworks is no longer around to make PS5 Pro patch for the game :(

If somehow they can create better graphic without PSSR, then I don't see the point of using it. But hopefully PSSR will continue to improve to a point where it will be as good as DLSS, then all games can free up resources for other things.

Too many people compare PS5 and PS5 Pro footages on their tiny phone and then call it a small upgrade, without realizing jumping from 30fps to 60fps is a HUGE (100%) jump, it is not a small upgrade.
Enjoy, if you don't see the value of 100% more frame rates on games that you play, feel free to wait as long as you want.

I think one of the worst things for PS5 is having the ability to swap plates but making them not compatible between models. And some plates were impossible to get... like the Spiderman PS5 plates.
Xbox is indeed dead, hardware went down by 29%. Revenue has of course grown, because they have more popular franchises now with the acquisition.
Anyways, just saying, having illusion that xbox is doing super well would only send them to grave faster. Xbots should keep demanding more good games!

What excuse? $450 is the slim, $700 is the pro, the difference is $250.
If you own a PS5, and your pay $700 for a PS5 Pro. You now have an extra PS5 that you can sell or use. $700 was never the upgrade price. Unless you give away your PS5 for free, the price to upgrade will never be $700.
