i said captivating. of course there will be spikes and valleys in action, but it can still be intriguing during the valleys.
better response from the everyone than i thought. played this game with younger cousin back in the day, but i never thought there was a real fanbase for this game.
nice find. i think a lot of people remeber games being longer is because they either got into gaming around the PS1 era when jrpgs where all the rage. other wise they got into before than, and games where still designed with an arcade mentality. meant to be very hard to take your quarters. anyways, people will play the games over and over, so if and when they finally beat the game it felt like a long experience. if they actually times from when they hit start and when they saw the final credi...
i agree i'd rather have 4-5 captivating than 12 hours of grinding, but i also would like all developers to push for 12 hours of normal gameplay. why not 12 hours of captivating gameplay?
i have no clue either. his comments had to do with KZ and Playstation, so it was relevant to this article.
i also agree with Dark's overall argument. though i do think that a lot of Sony fans have become over sensitive to the matter. there has been a standard for what a 7 game is, and i have trouble believing KZ 3 is in that range. still need to play to make my own opinion though.
i have noticed this as well TheGreat. though it hasn't been constant enough to warrant a complaint yet from me.
i encountered a little lag in one match. then there was one guy who seemed to be lagging a lot in one match. not sure if he had a bad connection or cheating. other than that its been fine for me.
im with Grand. HS is one of the best use for the sixaxis ever. would like more developers to find a way to implement it more.
all the games you guys are mentioning have average to poor stories. the things any of us can say that are good in the sp are the set pieces.
KZ2-making the final push to Visari's palace
COD4-crawling in the brush while the oposing army is moving all around you.
BOs-base jumping, russian roulette, or wehaterver
MoH-hunkering down in a small building while the enemy is continuously pouring over the hill side to kill you. ...
@trounbyfire
i have yet to play the beta, but the other reviews of KZ3 i have read or watched, seem to agree with you. they all say Guerrilla fixed the controls, but where also able to give different weight to the guns, which KZ is known for.
i can't tell if trolling or if an actual honest thought.
@Xilus867
i have heard many people complain about SOCOM,but i would like people would wait for the game to be released before complaining too much. i also think some of the changes seem weired. wait for the release, and if the fanbase still have problems complain then. Zipper did a lot of work for the MAG community, and i am sure they will support SOCOM as much if not more.
only L.A. Noire and SOCOM are the only ones im interested in on PS3.
i too was thinking of writing up my impression of BulletStorm, but i didn't want to spend time trashing a demo. i may still rent the game to get a better impression of the game. i no interest in buying it though.
Baby boomers and Gen X are the cause of society's problems. gen Y should be starting to screw things up pretty soon, but i fear for how much will still be left to screw up once gen Z comes along.
i like the boxes of Axe body spray thats also for sale. thats some serious dude time.
i agree for the most part lightning. i just don't think its bad word choice. even if its under hyped,(which it is) that still means the games are overlooked in their hype. i find it mind boggling that with what i admit as a weakly written article, the only problem people have found in the article actually makes total sense.
nope. don't even own a 360. also 2 of the games are PS3 exclusive, and only 2 of them are on the 360 and PC only. the fact you call all the titles terrible without having the ability play them shows that they may very well be overlooked. the games listed just where a bunch of interesting titles that i haven't seen other people or sites talk about when it comes to games they are excited for in 2011.
i will admit i'm not very happy with this article. i was trying ...
feel the same about Milla. i also enjoyed the first RE movie. i was going into it expecting a really bad video game movie along the line of Doom or House of the Dead, but instead i was giving an enjoyable popcorn movie.
a few days late but...
i guess i did have a problem being competitive with both. damn you three stalkers for calling out my bluff. if i see you peaking in my windows again you're going to get it.
a lot of disagrees but no counter arguments?
