or does it play like COD, Bad Company, Uncharted, GeOW, add whatever other game thats been mentioned. the game plays like SOCOM 4 and not like any other game people try to connect to it.
they will need to actual have a good length sp(10-12 hours), and they need to fully embrace the B action movie.
owners of the PS3 tend to older, so keeping it in the living room to use as the multimedia device that it has been advertised as makes sense.
the Wii is thought as a great social/family gaming machine, so having it in a place where most can have access also makes sense.
my guess for why the 360 is more likely to found in the bedroom also has to do with age. the 360 tend to be popular with teenage to collage age kids. they don't usually own a living room...
i try and try but i just can't get into rts games. always too much to learn, and i always get bored before i can start getting the hang of the finer mechanics of the game. i think i need to get a really but cheap rts, and really try to learn how to play it. any one got any suggestions? i think i have Age of Empire's 3 somewhere; would that be a good one to start?
too many points for anyone one person not to find at least one thing to disagree with you on.
first one to come in and use trollish remarks, and yet has the audacity to blame other fanboy/girl's. it's a mad world.
is he the first to post a troll remark? reads the 3 post prior, and yep he is. hell, i scroll down and the vast majority of people have been civil.
it seems that WhiteNoise and all the people agreeing are the only ones fueling any type of flame war. but this is lost on all of them, because their brain is stupid. :)
i think classic mode very much feels like SOCOM, but its been heavily updated. it seems that most of the vets wanted SOCOM 2 HD remix, but that's isn't what Zipper made. i understand why many are let down by this, but i do think they should let it go and try to enjoy the game for what it is, and thats a very good/fun game.
i'm enjoying this beta a lot more than i enjoyed Uncharted 2's mp. i guess it a personal preference thing, but i do agree there is a few things Zipper needs to fix, but i wouldn't say it can't be enjoyed. like i said, i'm having hella amounts of fun.
@crazyclown
can we stop with the SOCOM 2. it was fun for its time, but too many look at the game through nostalgia classes. the game was ugly, laggy, and filled with wall glitchers.

co-op looks hella fun. i'm enjoying the beta(just shy of 10 hours), but i do hope to have most of my mp be co-op. it really depends on my MAG clan coming over, and them wanting to co-op.
yeah this has been a complaint since the start. it is something they should fix, but it hasn't ruined my play time.
@Dramscus
the sp was bad. it starts off with a well done HL type of beginning that had me thinking that it really was going to be a deep well thought out game. that changed 5 seconds right after that thought. after that it turns into an 80's B action movie. i was waiting for Reb Brown to shown up, and gun down all the Koreans while yelling like the man beast he is.
i would have been more okay with this if they had polished it a bit better. they sold the g...
the guns stats are what make them different from one another, and the crosshair size differs depending on accuracy.
then ending was bad. hell, the last 30 minutes or so was a huge let down for, but i enjoyed the 2-3 on-rails (minus the final one) and there was only one stealth section, that i thought was well done, and a nice change of pace from the other lvl's. i over all i really enjoyed the sp.
the mp i had a lot less fun with. it wasn't awful, but i did like KZ2 much better. just not my thing i guess.
i don't think 3/5 means a 6/10, just like a 5/5(really g...
hard to tell because of the different time of day. it kind of looks like the 360 might be running at a higher resolution, because the PS3 looks a bit blurrier and softer.
this game is getting review scores from low to high. already had it pre-ordered so i could also get Metro 2033. $50 for 2 (hopefully) decent games isn't bad.
already played a bunch of 2033, and it been pretty good so far. not the best game, but it has been a fun play through so far.
Homefront seems to have a weak sp, which is a big letdown for me, but it looks to have a pretty good mp. i've been needing a new mp since MAG has become a laggy pos.
2011: agree
2012: agree again
2013: Jong-un getting a Nobel wouldn't be that much of a stretch.
2014: the bankruptcy of GM means the US is in a double dip recession, and the economy is failing. currently there are talks of cutting military budget while a recovery is happening.
2015: the China bubble is a deep issue that i don't have time to get into. the US may not help the Saudis because 2014 seems to show the US is going through bad economic times, al...
Hard Corps people.
i plan to get the PS3 version, and giving that copy to my cousin while i play on the PC.
not as bad as i thought it was going to be, but still in poor taste. nothing more needs to be said. MS apologized and donated the 100k.
Bubbles doesn't want to play COD, he/she wants to play a great tactical tps.
