the story and character development is the best of the year. the actual game mechanics are average or worse. i really enjoyed the game, but i was able to look past the gameplay flaws, and become engrossed in the story, characters, and world.

like the Steam group against L4D2, and almost everyone in it ended up buying the game anyways.

not only would i have included Enslaved, but i would have given it the win. out of what was nominated i would agree with ME2 winning.

i think the story telling was poor in FFXIII, but the games mythos was interesting.

i wouldn't say its ignorant to claim Nintendo is being overrated. really its just an opinion.

i think the great divide between Nintendo lovers and haters comes from Nintendos goals in making a game. Nintendo just tries to make the game mechanics as perfect as possible. so much so, Nintendo tends to pay a lot less attention to story telling, character development, genera pushing, etc.

this is also why their games tend to score so high, and why there is div...

i would try a play through of Enslaved. if you can look past the mediocre game mechanics, you may find what you seem to be looking for.

i do wounder if the increase is because the price itself, or if its because "sale" is tagged onto the price? if the former, games should really be cheaper, and what Charmers post seems to back me up, in it being a good idea for publishers and consumers.

they said the same for Vista, and that didn't turn out well.

its just sucks the game mechanics aren't as polished as the story and character development. still need to finish the game, but im right before the part that this article spoils, and im not completely sure how i feel about the game.

i think the disagrees are coming from your second point. very few expect LBP2 to offer large AAA quality games, that take hundreds of people and countless of hours to make. the vast majority of people fall under your first point.

i would think more "fanboys" are dismissing LBP2 because it wont make "CoD-quality" games. those people are missing the point.

10. PC fanboys can be elitist, but we should be hating all fanboys right?
9.Halo and fighters are also used in this "E-sports", so argument fail.
8. 360 has same problem. maybe not as wide spread, but look at anyplace to pirate games and you'll find 360 games just as easily. not to mention more PC gamers will talk about great Steam deals before talking about best places to pirate.
7.can't look much more like an ass than in this reasoning. your a nerd,...

this one pic looks blurry, and shows average to low texturing. not very impressed, but like Lord_Dogg said, "all the elements that make the cryengine so special involve movement...", so i'll need to wait to see the game in motion before i can really comment.

@KoolNo
again, the one screaming fanboy is writing the most fanboy worthy post.

problem with the 360 list. 2 out of the 6 games are also on PC. one isn't even a "Microsoft" exclusive, which is even lamer than than saying "console", Splinter Cell being on Onlive means Macs can play as well.

in the end it doesn't matter, because they chose the 360 because of Halo. them being huge Halo fans means it didn't matter what Sony brought out this year.

it matters even less once you realize its just an opinion. disa...

i agree STONEY. people are always complaining games are too easy, and now they want a rewind feature in a sim? thats the worst idea i've ever heard.

5573d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

i have heard that most of the 360 problems, like AI, aren't bad on the PC version. still need to play the game. wanted to pick it up on Steam for $10, but with the holidays i have very little extra cash. maybe next sale i won't have to be so tight with my wallet.

the only problem, if you can call it that, was the weird rag doll physics glitches i saw. other than that MOH played well. sure it was nothing special, but it was far from a bad game. also found the MP to have some fun moments. nothing to keep my attention for a whole year, but enough to keep me playing for a month or so.

while there was a bunch of things not to like about FFXIII, i still think it was a good game. at least worth a play through.

i haven't played Black Ops, but i always thought the MOH complaints could also be said about the COD series. i don't think it was as well polished as COD4, but thought there was plenty of fun to be had. i would say MOH is worth a rent, or wait for it to become cheap.

i think EA has done much better. not only with the new IPs, but also with their EA Partners branch. bring in big, quality developers to do whatever they want, shows much change in EA. the problem comes with people needing to reward devs and publishers for this. seems like most people safe their $ for a few big games a year. which could be turned into a price discussion, but i won't get into that right now.

StanLee speaks the truth. i too have a personal band against Activision, but i know they won't miss me. plenty of others to take my place.
