These guys also made Ehrgeiz (did I spell that right?), the only fighting game before Dissidia to feature Final Fantasy characters. Of course, they also made Kokuto Chojin for the Xbox, so I'm kind of with-holding judgment. :|
Still don't see how any of that is of any relevance to the average Japanese gamer who'd spend more money on an FF game than care about how many discs it's being played in NA or EU.
The thing with SE is there is no single super talent behind the various teams. Maybe Tetsuya Nomura but other than FFXIII, what else could people expect from some one like Wada? On top of that, when he's concentrating on such a high level blockbuster, who cares what else he puts out? The fate of the PS...
It's already been stated that Japan is not getting the 360 version of the game. So why would they care about the 3 DVD comment when it doesn't even apply to them?
As for the Wada hate, I've yet to come across any forum or journalist who bashes the man because he hasn't delivered on expectations.
If it costs so much more in Great Britain, then why not mimic the same price in the US? Conversely, if they sell it for $55 in the US, why not for 33 GBP (the rough exchange of the same in Great Britain)?

Hmm, some other major titles are coming out then. God of War 3, Splinter Cell Conviction, Bioshock 2. Mass Effect 2 will definitely have major competition. Still, will definitely hold it's own.
I noticed some differences in ship and environment details. Some alien races seem more detailed than before. But yeah, looking at the slightly more humanoid races (Humans, Asari), not much diff. But the lighting is definitely more amazing in Mass Effect 2.

Yeah, the whole, "Will they? Won't they?" debate is getting old and redundant. Though, what do the Bioshock team's statements have to do with that?
It's a timed exclusive for the PS3. Meaning, the PS3 gets it sooner than the 360. However, there will be no Japanese 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII, so it's only getting it sooner in NA and EU.
