Agreed. To me, Too Human simply received too much hype, especially the whole bogus "10-year dev cycle" story that people simply refused to forget. I liked the combat in the game, especially when using the analog sticks for combat. The amount of loot you could amass in the game was also impressive. Granted, yes, it took a while before the game got fun but when it did, it was very much so. Too bad the dialogues more or less sucked, along with the story.
Maybe not. However, even if you look at from a purely newcomer's point of view, KoF XII offers much less in terms of gameplay and quality than it's peers. It only hurts that much more if you've played an preceding games in the series. Even an offshoot like Garou didn't have that many characters, but the fighting system was so rich and in-depth and each character had their own individual style and detailed move sets. In KoF XII, they actually reduce the number of moves. Garou is more than a de...
It's a big deal because they had many, many more characters and modes in previous versions. Also, the move sets have been reduced beyond that even seen in the Capcom vs. SNK series. And BlazBlue has a much more in-depth fighting system than this.
Though yes, I agree that the reason for both games having lesser characters will be to promote future DLC, more so in case of BlazBlue. If SNK were this lazy with the initial game, I'd doubt they'd be interested in anything beyond an onl...
The Yahtzee similarities are too close to not be a coincidence.
Also, Cloud97, I don't know which juvenile guidelines you read and agreed to but utter garbage, even it be your mother tongue, is reserved for the Open Zone. And your C-grade high school classroom.
Maybe. But after Sony's vehement denials and mockeries of IGN's past PSP Go stories, I remain skeptical.
Even though Microsoft technically owns Killer Instinct, they haven't really published any KI games for Rare, right? If we go by it literally then of the existing franchises on the 360, Perfect Dark and Kameo would be the most logical (Banjo-Kazooie already had it's time in the sun, as stated in the article). Then again, MS/Rare could pull a surprise out of it's hat yet.
Hence filed under "Rumours" and not "News". The man in question specializes in 360 development as good as PS3 and PC development. But yeah, there is another unannounced game from these guys.
@heroicjanitor: Cool. Won't disappoint.
Hmm, it came to Xbox Live first. But then, EA and DICE weren't prepared for the kind of response it would get, it seems. Hence, the millions of gamers actually worked against Battlefield 1943's favour. Thankfully, the server capacities are being doubled and extra precautions taken for the PS3's release.
I agree. Medal of Honor (Allied Assault, before the whoring out began) wasn't any less compelling, even with the lack of blood. If you create compelling enough gameplay, it becomes irrelevant how realistic it is and returns the emphasis to the one most important thing: fun. :)
And thus rose EA from the ashes. Seriously, the popularity of this game is nuts. Haven't tried it myself but would love to see what the fuss is all about.
Huh. It'd be interesting to point out to the authors that there are people who like Omikron: The Nomad Soul - Omikron, of all titles - and aren't ashamed to admit it. Good luck convincing them they shouldn't like Uncharted of all games.
He may as well just write his own original stuff if he's gonna change the wording. >_<

I'm almost tempted to say, "Idiots like you came onboard" in response to the last question. But your comment more than suited the purpose. :)
And you're as much a banker as HHG is a gaming journalist, kid.
Edit: Seems HHG called in the censorship brigade.
Then HHG must be calling his "homies" to "cap" this "sucka".
Till then, good stuff. Keep it up. :D
The problem is just with HHG in general. Before, he would literally flood the pages with all kinds of flamebait and poorly written material. Yes, the worst stuff was provided by his staff but do you honestly think that less than 95% of what's on his site hasn't gone through him first?
HHG is arguably one of the reasons, if not the main reason, N4G's SourceFilter came about. It's just a way of looking on the bright side. Frankly, things would have been better if he never came onto...
Looking forward to your responses even more. Thanks. :)
@HueyNewton2008: Yes. Please do. Or you could just forward us one of your sample pieces for HHG. Same thing, really. :)
But God as my witness, you're the best thing to ever happen to HHG. :D
You most likely lost HHG after "you at school". :)
Chocolate is awesome.
