After GTAIV: The Lost and the Damned, could be penis as well. You never know.
...Never knowing is half the battle at this point. :|
And they say chivalry is dead.
"They" say a lot of things. :P
Well, God of War 2 was f**king awesome. :)
GTAIV...yeah. Over-hyped.
And Final Fantasy Vs. XIII is unreleased.
So that means Halo: Reach can either be great, over-hyped or ultimately unreleased. Wow. Now that's an interesting pattern. O_O
Which is weird. I read some of Fall of Reach, and the Chief was in it. Whereas looking at a designation of who's who on the poster showed the Chief was nowhere to be found.
That being said, it's more than likely the ODST crew will be there - at least, the Rookie will since he fought in the first battle of Reach.
@N4PS3G: Hmm. Sounds good. Fall of Reach itself was a good read. If there's one thing i admire the Halo novels for, it's the ability to create fast-paced ye...
Concerning point 1, yes, the PS3 lacks features inherent in the competition like cross-game chat (though i think read some where about it's introduction in the near future) but it's also free of charge. It has plenty of classic PSOne games for download. The shortcomings also vary from fan to fan - if they decide that not having custom music is no big loss, then it's not for them. And they're happy. No point trying to get them to NOT be happy about it.
Point 2: Could you please li...
It's titled "Why you SHOULDN'T Buy" one.
Weird (and stupid) of the author.
More or less, though the Kingdom Hearts series featured stellar voice acting from both sides.
Welcome to Society.
[Reference to the movie Gamer there. ;-) ]
He was at Naughty Dog for more than 7 years. I mean, okay, they're one of the better dev houses under Sony but how long can one man work for a single company?
Plus, a pedigree like that and Bungie/MS WON'T notice and offer him a better deal? Unlikely.
Bioware was never part of MS to begin with. Yes, their Mass Effect franchise has only been on the 360 but that's more of an EA decision than a Bioware one (since it has control of their properties).
As for Bungie, who knows? If they were going to make another Halo game or two, makes you wonder why they moved away in the first place. :P
Maybe, though I see some of the more die-hard fan boys having a fit over this. But I think we're well past the "can't we all get along" debate.
I am curious as to what kind of settings he can create for Reach, given his past proficiency for sci-fi environments (Jak series).
Having a game on one disc isn't stupid at all. I was just referring to how he's bringing a game down simply because he has to change discs for accessing the different modes. He obviously hasn't seen the sad, sad days when we had to change a dozen floppies to just install a game. Lord help you if one of them had corrupted (and it WAS a floppy).
This kind of thing boils down to taste, or subjective opinion. If he's reviewing the game, he should focus on the game unless the disc swi...
Every one has an opinion of something or the other. We may not always agree with it, but yes, we try our best to give equal coverage to both triumphs and injustices happening to all platforms. Especially when some one outright LIES like this AC reviewer has done.
This article is neither critical of the PS3 nor disapproving of it. And I sincerely hope it didn't come across as such. Just the way some people review video games these days, as if reading up on "sources" of i...
Thanks Xi. Your appreciation is...well, appreciated. :)
I get the whole "fans whining about small discrepancies some reviewers make" issue.
But this guy nags about disc switching for single- and multi-player modes.
DISC SWITCHING, for crying out loud. Tell me that is not stupid.
Annnndddd...I have no idea who he is. :)
But i know he loves HHGS. And approving HHGS garbage even more.
Very good point. I didn't think of that. He seems so enamoured with the Wiimote you'd think he'd have sex with it (and then make a game using the motions).
@IcyJoker187: "Killzone 2 sucks because it doesn't have multi-player."
If any reviewer outright lied like that, you'd be all over it, wouldn't you? But no, them lying about other games is just fine with you, it seems.
I agree. Now that MS is done with wowing people with it's trendy actors playing it's demos in some of the most embarrassing displays of gesturing this side of Charades, it should focus more on just that: How will Natal work, how will it apply to different genres, it's pricing, it's availability, etc. They need to give to journalists early on and allow them to dissect it, analyze it and report back with any major flaws and whatnot. It's still early to suggest such things - I estimate we'll hav...
The "exceeds any classification as a simple 'add-on'" line was meant to convey that Natal may very well be integrated into the 360's core package not long after it's releases (given the amount of things planned for it).
It's in no way connected to the price of Natal, which surely wouldn't be more than $80 (unless MS is really in the mood to see it crash).
Even I was surprised by the number of changes made to the gameplay. It just feels better when I'm buying a sequel to know that the core gameplay hasn't been messed with but expanded to give me many more ways to complete missions.
