I've never really played White Knight Chronicles but the story's always intrigued me. Can anyone tell me how it plays?
Far as I can tell, a lot of the hate is coming from several different sections, namely:
1. People who expected Crackdown 2 to be some kind of high profile release when it was barely hyped by Microsoft itself (did you see it anywhere on stage at E3? Neither did I and I forgot all about it till I started seeing reviews on N4G)
2. People who take reviews way too seriously when they're negative and not as seriously when they're positive (just play the gam...
I agree that some developers ignore gameplay mechanics to focus on nice graphics, but for the most part, "nice graphics" is pretty subjective. Uncharted 2 and Crysis look amazing and have good graphics but just because Okami and Shadow of the Colossus use different art styles and have PS2 visuals, doesn't mean they don't have great graphics either.
Games will always be used as benchmarks for other games. And because so many games are usually run-of-the-mill ...
People like Guerrilla Games, Naughty Dog, Team ICO and Polyphony Digital are present in those "other nations". Are you gonna fault people's nationality simply because the Wii sells more than the PS3 in other countries?
When did I say I was happy with Anti-Sony? I'm against any "Anti-" stuff as I believe it substitutes interesting discussion and humorous banter with hatred, vitriol and immaturity.
But my main point on this story is: If some one has a problem with Sony's customer care and writes a story on it, while some one having said problem with MS's customer care does the same, which company gets hated more and which will get more sympathy?
