Would love to see an updated HD version of the old .hack games, with some of the old bugs ironed out but even better would be a brand new game, bridging the gap between the various franchise properties like the original, Roots, etc.

Ah, slow news days. Who knows what bizarre creations you'll vomit up.

Though I like the article. Exposes the same timeline issues that have been happening since Ocarina of Time.

I thought all the hate was doing wonders for you guys?

God, you and HHG are some of the biggest hypocrites I've ever seen. And I had a father who was, since we're quoting, "a drunk and a fiend".

Sheesh, I can just see you crying into your stupid photoshopped images of Brangelina Jitty right now.

It's only been approved thanks to you, a loyal HHG fangirl, and the rest of his cronies like Tordavis, who approve his drivel, day-in and day-out. That you even feign innocence in this case at all when you published comments like,

"Keep on hating guys much appreciated :)

The more hate we get the bigger we get.

That's all I can say,"

Shows that you and HHG were made for each other in douche-bag heaven.

Because HHG is, was, and will always be full of crap?

Also, I'm reporting the video based on what the summary says and because of the headline. And if you tell me, "But that's not what the video is REALLY about!" then again, my 'Fake' report still applies. So to recap:

'Fake': Because of the Red Dead Redemption 2 garbage.
'Bad editing': Speaks for itself.
'Lame': Flamebait headline.

I just wish your sentiments were borne by others. There are some people I've seen who just couldn't wait to pirate a game on the flimsiest pretext. Granted, if I hated Activision's decisions as much as anyone, I would have gladly gone without buying Modern Warfare 2, for instance, in the first place. But many users, including those on this site were happily declaring their desire to pirate the game when it'd out. They want to have their cake and eat it too - that they're e...

Don't you mean Gran Turismo 5? :|

"Lame" was just an opinion-based report stating my dislike for the story. It's completely subjective, which is why N4G doesn't fail stories, no matter how many Lame reports they have.

My other report is in accordance to N4G guidelines. It clearly states that the site is a blog. It's not a blog written by industry professionals, game developers or professional games journalists - just one written by those who like playing games - and while there's no ...

"You thought it couldn't be done!"

No.

"That it would never happen!"

Never occured to me even once.

"That this game absolutely, positively would not have Master Chief in it at all!"

Okay, now you're just being desperate.

Just listened to the song recently after a long time. Still Alive = Still Awesome. Wish Lisa Miskovsky would produce some more music (her older tracks are really good too).

I thought Bayonetta was better than DMC4 as well, because it took a lot of the tropes of the DMC/Ninja Gaiden/God of War action-beat 'em up genre and added some interesting new additions, along with over the top, varied sequences and story-telling. The boss battles and Climax attacks were pretty awesome too.

Still enjoyed DMC4 though. Connecting attacks with the Devil Bringer with Nero and switching styles on the fly with Dante was great, though Nero's character was a...

Agreed. I loved that level. Just about every inch of it, from getting to the hospital to hitting the elevator, to climbing the rooftops and manning the turrents...man, the single-player didn't offer much longetivity but the intensity in each of those storylines was quite amazing. Maybe I should look into playing L4D2...

I'm betting we're going to see at least 5 more "MS is Doomed from Losing ME2 Exclusivity" within the next 24 hours (at least).

Controversial, hit-seeking title any one? :P

NO seriously. That headline is just getting down on it's friggin knees and begging you to click. Bad contributor, bad. Don't you know N4G has standards? (ba-dum-bum-tsh)

:O

De-Mon is now my new god.

Major props to Sony and Playstation 3 fans for soon being able to experience one of the best Bioware franchises of all time. :D

(And this'll probably influence my decision to buy a Playstation 3 in the near future, even though I finished ME2 on PC)

Nah, nothing like that. Some RPGs let you do whatever you want (actually "play" the "role", as in you are Marshton and can do whatever you want as him) and others have you acting out the role (like when you play as Cloud or Squall and can't control the different plots triggering) but deep down, they're both RPGs in that they're trying to draw you into the story, even the setting.

But yeah, it's not bashing any particular kind of RPG (which ...

"You can put a 'J' in front of it, but it's not an RPG. You don't make any choices, you don't create a character, you don't live your character. I don't know what those are - adventure games maybe? - but they're not RPGs."

This quote from Bioware summarizes the article accurately. It seems to be that JRPGs - by eschewing character creation and personal choice - aren't really "role playing games" to the author. Because pl...

That, like all sites, should be taken with a grain of salt.

Edit@MicroSony4Life : Lol. The new HHG? Sorry but you'd have to spew outright bullsh*t 24/7, worship Sony as your new god and review games positively just so you'll keep getting free review copies, to be HHG.

I never said I hated Kotaku (just that you should be discerning of them, like all other sites) but I hate HHG. And hence I haven't commented on any of his stories for the past few mo...
