Blizzard deserve to get money for this, after all all game EULA's state that it is for private use and not to be shown or displayed in public, same with movies, you can't just put a TV in a public place and play your new blu ray or whatever, you need a license, but they shouldn't have cut LAN for the sake of this, that's just spitting in the face of their loyal fanbase and the people who made their company what it is

no that is absolutely correct, it has to render a set amount of frames ( whatever frame rate the game usually runs at ) and then double it for 3d as each alternate frame has to be for the different angle to make up the 3d, if they didn't double the frames then you would have half the amount per eye making it appear very slow, so they can either halve the frame rate, or lose some I.Q

In aus the PSP go is $379....the PS3 is $429....maybe that's why they are not selling, I don't think it has anything to do with digital vs. physical, it's all about the price of the device.

It's a bit late to get a clue...
Sony's making money now, and there is quite of few years left for this gen me thinks, # of units sold means little to the users, as long as good games keep being made, it's sad now that any game that doesn't sell 10 million units and 2 million console's is considered a flop.
the price issues are the same here in aus, a 470 costs $419 ( the cheapest one ) and the 5870 $435 ( also for the cheapest one )
The 5850 goes for just over $300 and the 480 is $625 :o
So it's a bad time to upgrade, I'm waiting a few months and when the 480 gets to $500 i'm going to get one, it will still be more expensive than the 5870 but for the reasons you've mentioned ( and as i've heard from many many users on guru3d who returned the...
But who can we really trust these days?, the reviewers who are getting paid?, or the fanboys who act like marketing slaves for free?
I don't know which is worse.
Some games get awesome reviews and I hate them, others get reviewed poorly and I love them.
I guess i'll keep going by my usual measure of somethings worth:
