i'm gonnna go ahead and assume that the announcement is that the 'blood dragon armour' in Dragon Age for ps3, will also be usable... in Mass Effect 2 for the ps3
@skittle's, no you do not, but you also don't have crysis, and your getting crysis 2, just so you know i don't own a ps3, so this isn't some fanboy statement, i'm sure mass effect 2 is coming to ps3, bioware have been very coy about it.
@z-hayden
so do I, mass effect was an awesome game, if me2...
if your running a 'monster box' why the hell are you limiting yourself to dx9, that would be like a person still play dx7 games 2 years ago
So there's your reason to upgrade right there, dx11, and the fact that xp is just ancient
@t850
the 32bit ram limitations do NOT include gpu memory
I honestly couldn't give a F what the 'market' does. I will always buy physical media, and if they take that away, then they lose my sale. It's so practical having everything as a digital download.....if i download dragon age by DD it would be my monthly download limit+ the extra 4cents per mb that i pay over that limit. screw that
^^Welcome to 1 bubble land you pr!ck
I found a nice honest windows 7 review for those that want the truth:
http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs...
"Performance under Windows 7 is good. Not great, but good. It boots noticeably faster than Vista, loads apps more quickly, and just generally seems more responsive. Most benchmarks show little to no difference in performance, though. If you have a ...
no, i agree, it tricked me at first, i thought it said that it won't be censored...i gave a premature huzzah!
lame, i think this is just yet another blow to aussie gaming, but as for the game itself, i bought l4d1, and i thought it was lacking, it's just a shame for those that do want it, hopefully you can get it uncensored on steam
no gamers or enthusiasts 'downgraded to xp', limiting yourself to dx9 is inasae. The only people who downgraded were people with integrated graphics, and mininum specs, microsoft did exaggerate the min specs, and that pissed people off, but anyone that only has minimum specs for an OS should not even attempt to play games on it, regardless of which OS it is
well well well, what do you know. The people screaming, "the king is coming" from the rooftops have obviously come from the dark ages (aka xp) to win7. But we who have had vista from day 1 know the 'problems' were a load of b.s, i had vista on day one, vista buisness on a laptop, 128mb 7300go, 2gig 667mhz ram, 2.0ghz dual core celeron, and even on that it wasn't that slow, now i have vista on my gaming rig, it's never missed a beat, my money will go where it's needed more.
DX11 is being implemented via update into vista, as any vista owner with a decent pc knows, vista is a great OS. I have no problems at all and even with the OEM version i have my motherboard several times and it has automatically activated without question. They dx11 update will extend the life of vista for any current owner, there is no need to rush out and buy it, that has been the general consensus of every single review of windows 7. Also the extra ram usage in vista is only while idle, t...
good on sony, and this is good for x-box fans too. Everyone wins:
more blu ray saturation= cheaper blu rays, and no more disk limitations. I hope nintendo goes the same route next gen, although i doubt it, HD wii with a blu ray player would sell 500million copies
you've been readin to much marketing crap, windows vista will also support dx11 through an update, dx11 is backwards compatible with vista, not like how xp couldn't support dx10, win7/win vista architecture is almost identical
that sounds like money better spent, i will wait for the benchmarks, if by some miracle win7 gives me a 5frame per second boost accross the board, i'll consider it a worthwhile purchase, but i doubt it will do anything like that
i'm running vista ultimate 64bit, are you being serious though, are you sure you didnt get a new pc that had win7 on it???, because all the reviewers said that there were almost no gains in gaming, and that only the OS level use was faster. i need some serious gaming benchmarks, now that it's out it won't be long
same here, never once had any issues with performance, i suppose because unlike alot of idiots i didn't try to run vista with only 1 gig of system ram....and then start screaming HERESY! from the roof tops
I think Gearbox should have spent a few more weeks testing, instead of bad mouthing other more successful devs.
"the number one reason people don't play MMOs is because of subscriptions"
that and the fact that their all formulaic and grind fests, i love rpg's but mmo's can suck it, i'll always take a single player rpg over an mmo
dude i nearly shat myself watching event horizon, and dead space if pretty friggin scary but it's not that bad, especially when you have some insane weapons upgraded.
I was always confused by the drastically different games in the series, i even thought some of the games were from a different series altogether. I friggin love the look of the look of the new game, but the 2142 game has obviously not aged well. I not a fan of ww1 or ww2 shooters, so i've missed out on alot of games. Modern warfare games appeal to me much more. COD series kind of gave me the impression that all war shooters were the same, bad influence by them i guess.
+ the amou...
as far as i'm aware there haven't been any shooters released recently for pc, unless operation flashpoint has, and that game was never going to me as popular as cod etc
