And for the people who missed 1 and 2 then what? They should just start on the 3rd game in the series? How is that different from just starting with the 4th game?.... not to mention a resolution bump is hardly worth $40, at least to me. I would say all 3 games would definitely be worth $40-60.
If the aim is toward those who never played the game, then they totally failed, as those people will still not know the story from 1 and 2.

@rdg No Publisher/Dev goes around telling "journalists" (especially ones like kotaku) What their plans for a game are before launch. They certainly don't give out business information and decisions on a game we still know so little about.

If it is true, I am glad. Kojima represents what is good in gaming and is successful enough that he doesn't need some big name publisher to make games. Really I hope he is going on his own, i would be really interested to see what he produces with no limitations, deadlines or shareholders to please.
That said, this could just as easily not be true at all. Either way I don't see how this "news" really means much at all as we get great games from Kojima regard...

Mario Party 10 is certainly one of the weaker games in the series, the mini games just aren't up to the caliber of previous entries .... BUT, I lost all confidence in the reviewer after this comment from him:
"In my experience, two types of people get the most enjoyment out of Mario Party: Small children and inebriated adults."
1. I personally find that insulting as I have enjoyed many Mario Party games, and fell under neither of those categories.

From what I have seen of it, it seems like a user created advertising database. Pretty much like facebook. It allows users to "like" things to share with others, but in reality the goal is likely just data collection for marketing.
It's actually pretty good, in relation other battlefield games. That said. I am glad battlefield, cod, assassin's creed, etc are getting the cold shoulder. They need to, it is about time games start changing and returning to the time when a games goal was to be creative and fun, rather than a clone of game a or game b.

Dark cloud 3 would be a freaking dream come true. Can't see any other title I'd be more excited about.
to be fair, this is more of an MMO type gameplay. Linear game certainly need to have some level of cinematics. The division is pretty much my most anticipated titles since it's announce, super excited.

Honestly, the issues they bring up are completely relevant. The gameplay issues have been harped on consistently, accurately and fairly. (despite what some on here would have you believe) What is funny are the people who say, "Well, this is a cinematic game;" and, well, the story isn't great. This review worries about the story being consistent and creating immersion, but even worse (for me) is the fact that you have no clue what is going on. for example(as I said before)
Beta looked fine, so not to worried about resolution on paper if the game looks and plays well.
@cinerella dude, move on. Cry to someone else, somwhere else. What is more hilarious, MANY people (even in this comment section) will play thia game for over 100 hours plus a 6 hour campaign and plenty of content. Those same people still feel this game should be 20-40$. It almost makes you whole point turn right back on you.
