@rainslacker 31 negative/avg reviews vs 20 positive revies is outnumbering positivity? I would love to hear that explanation....

Of those 20, game informer and game trailers are the only two I have ever heard of. Most of the rest literally have "playstation" in their publication name, hard to call that unbiased....

1. TLOU had excellent multiplayer in addition to it's campaign.
2. A game doesn't require length and replay value, but if that is the case it should have solid mechanics and be fun. Neither of which were the case with many of the reviews.
You can imagine some fantasy where hate is the only reason this game is being scored as it is, but it's not the case. I personally have no opinion of the game as I have yet to play it, (Will on f...
Despite it's many flaws I like it and look forward to the sequel. I like exploring and the pursuit of gaining power is fun for me As is true with many others. What good does wasting time ranting about a game you don't like do? You might as well spend that time playing it, or something you do like.
The amount of damage control for this game is insane. Almost noone is complaining about the length of the game. They are complaining that the game has a short length AND no replay value. Not to mention the site here itself even says that reviewers complaing about the pacing, QTE's, lackluster firefights, lack of freedom, etc.
What I find most strange though, the author of this story complains that reviewers not liking the gane length but then says:
"...
You mean a bit to generous?
Also, I find hilarious when you see people claim that one off reviews that fit their viewpoint is somehow the ONLY "real" review (true for those rooting for abnormally high or low scores)
"After almost two years of anticipation and endless hype, The Order: 1886 introduces itself with the bravado of a dead fish."
How is this relevant ro the review? Seems more like a "told you so" than a necessary part of a review.
This is no better than the reviews popping up that are basically saying "suck it haters, 8.9/10." Rather than giving meaningful reviews of their experience.
I love the people who claim all other reviews are wrong and only the ones that support their views are correct...
Some people liked it, most din"t that's a fact. Is it a bad game? No. Do the majoritt of people who played it find it to be mediocre? Yes.
It is opinion, if you like it, great. That doesn't mean not liking it is wrong.
IMO this review should be ridiculed, not praised. When your review is just an inflamatory response t...
"The Order is a third-person shooter somewhat like Gears of War, if Gears of War had been a bad game instead of a good one."
Yea, after reading this I am a bit worried. I will like cancel my preorder and gamefly this game.
"No matter how long it takes you to complete The Order: 1886 it's just not worth it."
Man, that's kind of worrying, especially after the reviews are out. Think I'll just get this through gamefly and put my preorder deposit towards uncharted.
Wow, bought it for 9$ yesterday, but now it is 100% not on sale. Glad I got my copy then.
@hugs ahh, here comes the guy who claims people who are complaining don't have PS4's. I could give a picture of my ps4 as I have in the past, only for people to claim it could be a friends. I could give my gamer tag, only to have trolls send messages and spam my account. Or I could just chalk your disbelief that anyone can have "concerns" up to being as your unrelenting need to push your opinion onto others. Just because for some odd reason you consider listing aspects of a ...
@ben 100% agree, there are many valid concerns that arise, as with many games. The question then becomes what value you place on those concerns. Personally, my interest in the time period and theme of the game makes it a definite buy for me. I am certainly concerned about quite a few areas pertaining to the game, as I should be. Is it worth the 60$? Well that is the hard part to say before playing, but certainly many value adding qualities are missing from this game. (MP, decision trees, coop...
Honestly, I don't think it recieved any more hate than any other game. Certain fans just like to play the victim More is all. People made assessments on the first showing, in that it was largely buggy, which were accurate and likely due to it being a very early build, but close to the then earlier release. (Frame drops, lack of synchonization, etc) Next the demo that people played got mixed reactions, it's called opinion. Now, the game only being a bit over 5 hours long including cut ...
IDK, seems fine in my local stores, and online, (even the more obscure colors are stocked) so I would assume US is not part of the "world" based on this story.

?? So the hoke page friends list being down for like 30 minutes is considered an article worthy event now? This is just silly. Good job blowing it out of proportion though...
That said, the online service quality this gen is pitiful.
@mystic "The people I judge to be idiots are the ones who have ignored the reports of longer play times, but seized on the 5 hour report like it was a life preserver in story seas."
People think that because there was a literal part by part walkthrough by "playmethrough" in which he played through the game normally in 5 hours. Since when is believing video proof being an idiot. In fact most would think the exact opposite.

It's been an issue since ... always. This game is single player only. And the story isn't decision based. Basically after on playthrough you are essentially done. Why we are suddenly pretending content provided for 60$ is not important Is the better question.
The unending need to defend this game is what os really surprising. Especially when those whining are the first to bash other games for the amount of content they have...
I am by no means saying...
Lords of the fallen for me. Played/not interested in the rest. Had I not played most of these already there are quite a few games that are amazing deals.
You are posting speed runs that skip actual game content like cutscenes and actually fighting the enemies. This video above is a normal playthrough Of the order. Not only that, gears of war has MP, coop and horde mode on top of a 5-6 hour normal SP playthrough. Halo has MP, coop and multiple other game types and a 5-10 hour SP playthrough. (Depending on which game we are talking about)
What I find funny, why is it that you are ONLY posting speed runs of xbox exclusive games t...
You do realize many of those who rated unity with an 8-10, have also rated this game highly. In fact, it is almost a carbon copy.

The irony of your comment is hilarious, you were trying to jab the reviewers who gave low scores, but really your comment described those who gave hogh scores to the order and unity....
