Yea, it's not really that frequent TBH, and goes by pretty quick. I am all for updates as often as they want to push them out. (No more than once every 1-2 weeks though)
I would rather they get rid of scheduled maintenence that takes parts PSN down every time it happens personally.
Ori screamride and state of decay year one edition are all first party first half exclusives ....
Preorder DLC is truly stupid, escpecially this gen where preordering is no longer a smart choice. (Due to so many broken/low content games) This isn't the only game doing it though. This trailer has really made the single player reveal at e3 (I hope) even harder to wait for now! Looks great.
The preorder DLC that adds special traits that give an advantage are what I hate most though, hope this is not one of those occasions.
"And as for your COD example, you are talking this gen"
No, no I'm not.

Yes, uninformed. He said:
"I'd hope so after 10 months of nothing."
To which I named 5 exclusive games. (4 of which are first party) Last time I checked 5 is certainly more than none. You do understand what "nothing" means right?
Also you get the trophy ... for most oustandingly thoughtless comment ever made.
"You also listed for[z]a and sunset. Forzas great and so is sunset overdrive, but none of...
What an uninformed comment.... in the last 10 months we've had halo MCC, forza horizon 2, sunset overdrive, ori, screamride all as exclusives. (Probably even missing a few)
It is sad that ignorance is met with such praise on this site And you still somehow recieve so many likes For false statements.
No matter which way you try to cut this, or how much bias you intend to display, all of these comments from phil are good things. I hope they pan out to be tr...
Ask this question last gen, xbox live was much better (for online play and social features) this gen they are both pretty terrible. They are both down frequently matchmaking is less accurate and slower, and social features work very inconsistently.
Really not happy paying for either In their current states.
The PS4 had almost double the install base and sold fewer individual units. That is a fact. You assuming that this difference was made up by "bundles" is just that, an assumption. Even if the difference was accounted for, that still means double the percentage of users bought the game on xbox one. Not to mention destiny has an entire year of exclusivity on all dlc, star wars is marketing, and nothing more.
You're making an argument that is not only wrong, but ba...
I know you are partially playing devils advocate, but that logic only addresses one issue I stated above, and sadly, it's hardly accurate. Destiny had a bigger debut on xbox thanks to an excellently timed "free gam" promotion.

I find the reasoning behind this article completely laughable.
1. It is multiplat
2. Sony fans still whine to this day about titanfall being Multiplayer only, so what has changed?
This is a really strange title to see as an exclusive, seems like the market would be pretty small as a whole, especially if exclusive. These monster fighting games are always a blast though, looking forward to it, fun to just destroy entire cities and mess around with friends. I remember one of the previous godzilla games you could pick up pointy rubble and impale people.
@dark It is sad that all people care about and the first item of discussion is graphics. There used to ...
Or maybe, people who are so concerned about it can just choose "power saving" which uses less than 1w and move on instead of crying about it.
However, those people complaining should really evaluate the entirety of their power consumption considering how minimal the XB1's standby power is Compared to almost EVERY other hiusehold device.
You have to be truly oblivious to think that your XB1 or PS4's stanby mode (which are both ~10w) is even a...
@uth it is not a "waste" it is an OPTION. Guess what, if you don't want to use the power, put it on energy saving mode.
Easily one of my most anticipated games, it better come to the West!!
Just read the article that is being referred to by polygon and found this:
"You'll note that there's no mention of the respective standby power levels for the options: less than 1 watt for Energy-saving mode and 12.5 watts for Instant-on, which translates to an extra $33 to $75 (depending where you live) of electricity use over the typical five year life of a console"
Essentially they are whining about $10/year (aka less than $1/month) and A...
Accidentally leaving a single light on overnight uses 3x more power than leaving the xbox one on 24/7. Considering an average household has 20-50 lights, many of which are left on during hours when the sun is out and accidentally left on overnight makes this seem silly. Not to mebtion most PC users leave their computer on 24/7 full power which is generally 300-500 times more power consumption.
Idiots being idiots as usual.

Kinda silly question, if they really mean "bigger," than I would say it is pretty safe to bet on Halo. However, larger sales mean very little as each person prefers different things, so mass appeal may not mean you will like a game personally. As for which game is better it is completely relative to the player, so this whole article is kind of useless, especially considering that it is comparing a game that is out, that people have played, to game that isn't.
@deebo Yea, that's what happened. Sony definitely didn't say that EA access wasn't a "good value" and declined to put it on their console. Your conspiracy makes much more sense .... some people. The misinformation people spread on this site is insane.
Gotta say though, for me personally ea access has been freaking awesome, $2.50/month ($30/year) has given me early access to some great game and is a great way to "try before you buy", free games ...
Well, who is honestly going to go back to playing on 360 after inporting their character to xb1? The game still works on 360, just character progress is lost if you downloaded it yesterday (before it released) and tried to import your character. Which will be fixed in a patch.
Honestly, you had to go out of your way to download it to begin with, it wasn't a listed game, you had to "xbox bing" happy and find and download it.
Seriously is not that...
It's weird, last gen everyone cried to the heavens about ads on 360 because you paid for XBL. Now it's a bragging point for PS4?
MS stated a short while back that they were cutting down ad placements, due to all the whining, so this isn't really a surprise to see.
