Gears 2 won't win overall GoTY. The competition is far too strong. I reckon it will go to an established franchise, ie GTA IV or MGS4. Although LBP has a good chance IMO, due to it's innovation.

There completely different. Boku is like Logo. Programming for kids. LBP is completely different, and works like a level builder in games. Boku, at this point, (and I can't see that ever changing) hasn't got a hope in hell of beating LBP.

Even with the Xbox being the cheapest console on the market, it outsold the PS3 for a while, but only buy 1k. 1 new game comes out for the PS3, and it beats the Xbox by 30k.

This isn't Microsoft's answer to LBP. This is a game designed to get kids into programming. Think Viva Piñata. The only similarity is the user generated content, but this game doesn't have the mass appeal or accessibility that LBP does that makes the user generated content so successful.
This has no chance of being a "Little Big Planet Killer".

Fable 2 didn't do as well as expected, not AAA on most sites (still damn good though).
Gears 2 average score is dropping at a rapid rate.

It's a good game, but not that good.
Halo 3 raised the bar for FPS, but then CoD4 came along, took the bar, smashed Master Chief's helmet and then put it up even higher.
Far Cry 2 doesn't quite reach the standard set by CoD4 IMO.
This would be insane on a PC, but on a console, I really don't think it will work :(

They can't be compared either, there two different genres for starters, they use different engines as well. Graphically, they appear to be of the same standard though.
Firstly, you don't speak for all 360 owners. Secondly, it's not a "renter" to you, because you have nothing to play it on. And thirdly, care about it? The most graphically impressive console game ever? This could revolutionise graphics for ever. Stupid and short sighted not to care about it.
