This is really not surprising to me. I personally have never even considered the S because I want a true next gen experience. I have a 4k TV that supports VRR (unfortunately only at 60hz) but am fine with that since most titles won't ever hit 120fps for the 120hz to matter) and a nice surround sound system. I do see the market for it if you are still using a 1080p Television that doesn't support VRR etc, but if you want a true next gen experience, i feel like its clear you want to...
6am appointment at Best Buy on the 12th. Can hardly wait to experience it first hand.
This is one of those games i haven't had a chance to play in my backlog. Look forward to playing it on my PS5.
After reading several of the comments unsure why gamers can't rejoice over this, and instead have it devolve into a fanboy war because X console is running the game in the video. This is the closest that consoles have ever been in comparison to their PC counterparts. The Xbox Series X and the Playstation 5 both have such similar hardware, that we can assume the PS5 will do similarly well. I say this is a win for all gamers out there buying a console for only 500 bucks. Very cool! Ex...
To be honest, this is actually what i was expecting for this generation. Until we have a fairly massive leap in hardware for consoles, something along the lines of a 3000 series Nvidia card, we will continue to see this type of performance for next gen games. The problem with that is the strength of the hardware we would need does not strike a price balance for consumers, and that most would complain about a price higher than 500 dollars for a console (which i still think is an extremely go...
Bummer. Hopefully i will see my refund soon. Looks like if i want matte black, i will have to wait for an official product from Sony, or just paint the faceplates myself.
For me its going to be hard to figure out which game to pop in my PS5 first after Astro's Playroom. Want to be fully used to the Dual Sense experience and its features before popping in a fully fleshed out game.
Yeah, even the largest amount of gamer rage won't have me spiking a 70 dollar controller. I have learned the hard way over the years when i was younger. Not worth the cost of replacing for a brief moment of rage.
I won't be doing this until my warranty is up, which i am under the assumption is just a year long manufacturers warranty. For any of you interested in actually cleaning your console/pc out though, I highly recommend the X3 Hurricane Can-less Air product. The thing is incredible!
Agreed, must have both for sure. We sort of know what to expect from Demon Souls already though since BluePoint have said they really just stuck on building the game ground up to feel like the original experience. In general FromSoft games tend to be fairly niche as well, as most, including myself will get it just because it is new, but probably will get frustrated and not go forward with finishing the game because of its designed punishing nature (i've never been good or got past the l...
Absolutely both in my eyes. Don't miss out on a good gaming experience, but mainly don't write off CyberPunk. I think CyberPunk is going to be a revelation in gaming like reviewers think the Dual Sense is a revelation in the controller world. I try to not get my hopes up too much, but just from what i have seen with CyberPunk, it makes me think more and more that this is going to be like Half-Life 2 was for PC back in the day.
Dude don't get me wrong, Demon's Souls looks incredible, but Cyberpunk is a brand new game not just a remake. After everything we have seen from Cyberpunk, not really sure how you could hate on it before you've even played it. Demon's Souls is going to be awesome, but isn't a brand new experience like Cyberpunk will be.
I think it would be awesome to see Nintendo do a proper console again. Can you imagine if they had something on par with PS5 or Series X hardware wise? I know that is a complete pipe dream and will never happen, but if they had something on par with PS5 and Series X and started making their first party games look like some of the fan remakes we have seen floating around the internet using UE4 (Ocarina of Time and Mario 64 fan remakes) they would definitely sell a ton (not that they don'...
Since disc based this has always existed @Valkron. There is always a period when both consoles are supported before moving on to the next gen exclusively. BTW, metal gear solid 2 was not anywhere near a launch game for PS2. PS2 had matured for quite some time before MGS2 came out. Also, i meant cross-gen support. Happened with the Xbox 360 as well, end of generation original xbox games like Far Cry Instincts and Burnout Revenge, originally released on OG xbox and made their way to Xbox 360...
Nah, Silly, i am just calling it like i see it is all. Just like you are saying to do, I'm being honest. I play all games no matter where they are at. I am simply calling out hypocrisy, which in this day and age needs to be done more often. Enjoy where you play, and don't criticize others where they decide that is for them. I have said that all along and stick to it. Games are good no matter where they are at and we should all just enjoy it. Enjoy gaming my friend, we are all in ...
I am god honestly surprised that somehow people seem to think that Phil Spencer is the only liar. It is interesting to see how many commenting on other articles deface Phil for the same type of talk, are a bit mum on this one. LOL. Fanboys, Fanboys, Fanboys... Gotta love em. Funny when the tables turn a bit.
You have described exactly how they have created games on PC's for years now. Consoles are just that these days, they are PC's. You can strip any game down to make it run on X system, i think that was proven with Witcher 3 on Nintendo Switch. When there is a will or $$$$$ there is a way.
Especially with harware shortages that will probably linger throughout all of next year would be my best guess.
Gross-gen has happened for every single generation. There is always an interim period where old consoles are still supported. I do realize that i do need to take into consideration that you are younger and have lived through less console generations, so i'll give you the benefit of the doubt there.
I just received my secondary dual sense last night. I do like the controller, but with smaller hands i do seem to have a bit more of a difficult time reaching the asymetrical joysticks, whereas on the Dualshock 4 that wasn't an issue. I do like the feel of the controller more as it does seem more premium, but worry when playing games that i will have issues with joystick control. It does feel like the dual sense was made for a larger hand, once again i do know that is my problem and n...
