She is loving it! Don't think i'll be getting rid of it, but will let you know.
My wife and I have been loving the PS5 so much that i can't get her off of it. LOL. So i did what any impulse buyer would do. Heard my local Fred Meyers was getting more PS5's in stock and waited in a line to get another. I successfully got another one to put in my gameroom so my wife and I can play together. We are now both Playing Ghosts of Tsushima Legends together and having a great time! I have never doubled up on one console like this before because i have never felt the n...
LOL if this doesn't say scarce launch titles, i don't know what does. You would have to pay me to play a reskinned yearly COD release.
I mean the true cost is passed on to consumers, so none of us should be ok with this. In the end it is consumers making up for the large chunk any of these digital storefronts are taking, hence 70 dollar games.
I am right there with you my friend. Don't pledge allegiance to any one plastic box. Supporting all 3 is definitely the best way to go! Can't ever be disappointed with that strategy.
I think its best to assume that they are running this in God Mode on PC with a 3000 series card. Still very impressive how it scales, and can debunk any arguments that PC has been held back because of old console hardware.
N4G, the only site where downvotes are really upvotes ;). Mention PC or Xbox and bring on the downvotes, even though I am just as much of a Sony fan and have probably given Sony much more money than most of the downvoters.
Hoping i can score one more of these for my projector room.
This is precisely the reason i still keep my OG Xbox and 360 around. Really bums me out that games like Max Payne 3 aren't backwards compatible. Yet alone Amped Snowboarding! Would love to play some Amped again in 4k 120fps.
Original Xbox was fantastic! I must agree its my favorite of them all. Everybody who is an Xbox fan is just hoping for those glory days to come back, including myself. I don't think Microsoft will be able to ever emulate that experience again, but I can always hope. Still have my OG Xbox that i have hardware modified with every single original xbox released game on it that i go back to quite frequently to enjoy the whole library of retro games. Not going to lie, Amped Snowboarding an...
You can certainly tell the massive difference in skin tones/detail on clothing texture and the less plastic-y look. Really interested to see what the next gen versions look like on console compared to PC. We all knew what to expect when putting up the PS4 Pro compared to a PC.
I am personally happy with speedy load times, higher resolutions/framerates and a ridiculous backlog of games to play on my Series X. It is exactly what i expected it to be. To each their own though, we all knew going into this generation that games would be sparse at the start for Series X. This is a reason why i buy both consoles and have a PC, you never miss out on a thing and can be happy wherever you decide to play. At this point i think what is even more important is being able to ge...
Wow, runs surprisingly well. This gives me great hope for next gen releases. Maybe we will actually hit 1440p with Raytracing at 60fps or 4K 30. The aiming does look pretty sluggish with a controller though, could just be the way it looks. May have to get it for PC and Consoles.
If third parties continue developing for the Dual Sense, i have to agree with the sentiment here. The Dual Sense is an incredible experience that just adds that much more to your gaming experience, certainly Microsoft will have to have an answer to this if development continues the way it has been. I have always thought that the Dual Sense features would just be a novelty at the start and then fade away over time with third-party support. It will be interesting to see what happens here. ...
My thoughts exactly. Think i'm going to pick this one up on PC day one, and wait to buy for next-gen consoles when the next-gen update releases. Might as well play it with all the next-gen bells and whistles on Day 1 on PC first since everything will be available from the start.
It always boggles my mind how many down-votes happen when anything remotely positive about PC gaming is being discussed. SMH. I think it will be interesting going forward seeing how the Dual Sense is realized for PC. I think modders are really going to have a hayday here.
Yeah, unfortunately it is one of the well known defects for launch units. Tried charging controllers from them, tried charging my phone using them, and even tried using my Steel Series Arctis 7P and none of them actively received power from either of the ports. When i say one of several units, i just mean that i am in the 1 percent of folks out there, so i am not saying this is normal by any means, but people are experiencing this if you just take a look around the web. Now on the other ha...
Not to mention, i got one of the several units with a bad USB A and C port on the front. Thats what i get for early adoption though. Luckily right before my two year warranty from best buy expires i can likely exchange this for a slim model.
I really wish they would list the FPS we can expect to see from the system requirements for RayTracing. This game looks gorgeous. Definitely going to pick this up on CD Keys while the sale is still active for PC. I have a 3090, but am skeptical it will keep a constant 60 frames on Ultra with RTX on at 5120x1440. My guess is, because it is CDPR, it will support my Samsung Odyssey G9. Native support for superultrawide monitors is getting better, but titles that support it are still few and f...
Maybe take a hint from Cyberpunk ;)
