Excited, but extremely disappointed with the material they used on the case for series X (not the box, that looks great!). I hear its a fingerprint magnet. Obviously not that big of a deal, but for some reason, to me its annoying like a dead pixel on a monitor LOL. I know, i know, it will be in a cabinet so i won't be seeing it much anyhow. Still very excited for my Series X.

Not sure exactly how this will all work, but always excited for new tech making its way to next gen. Most excited to experience this all on my Klipsch sound system i pieced together and spent way too much money on last year.

Love PlayStation, but honestly the Travis Scott partnership is cringy in my eyes. Snoop is definitely better IMO. Can actually think of several other rappers i would rather have partner with Sony. Hell Busta Rhymes would have even been a better choice for a hype man. Arguably still one of the most underrated rappers in the game.

I was hearing on Kinda Funny Games Daily podcast earlier that this was due to them needing to now balance 9 different versions of the game and to make sure each is ready for Dec 10th. Xbox One S, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4, PS4 Pro, PS5, PC. Kudos to them for doing this if necessary. 21 extra days of crunch now. Its already been in development for near 7 years right? I can wait another 21 days if that will actually make a difference in a more polished game.
Good glad PC gamers get to enjoy the ecosystem and crank up their system settings. Microsoft promised more PC support and is delivering. Sony in some cases is doing the same thing because they realize how large the PC market really is and also will take a piece of that pie. Horizon Zero Dawn sold tons of copies on PC, so wouldn't be surprised if Sony follows suit on this with other titles.
@charlieboy future is going towards playing what you want when you want on any device. Just saying that is where things are going, sounds like adjusting may be more difficult for you. As a multi-platform owner, I would love PS Now on Xbox or GamePass on PlayStation. More to play is never a bad thing. Peoples misdirected anger towards Xbox is undeserved regardless. I will never understand the fanboys.
Completely agree. I want it supported, I just hope the extra performance comes along with it. Without the performance gain, its a moot point.
I bet it is on a per developer basis game wise for getting higher performance with 1440p. My guess is that the game will run the same and they will just downsample 4K res. Hope that is not the case, but its currently what they do with the PS4 Pro when people use a FHD TV.
Microsoft is constantly iterating on their dashboard and will keep doing so. In fact they update it so often that i have to re-familiarize myself with it what seems to be each month. I expect it will get better with time. Nice thing about not having a full refresh is that all the media apps and everything that worked on the Xbox One will be present at launch. PS2 was an incredible console. Its weird to think that we used to only use disc drives for our games and how wired controllers no longer are tethering us to our consoles. Remember having to sit way too close to the TV if i didn't want to yank out the cord during intense Winning Eleven 7 matches.
JEEEESUS, PS5 is a freaking monster as Gary Whitta described it on Kinda Funny Games Podcast (comically huge). Looks like it will get a dedicated cabinet. Going to have to remove a shelf to get this bad boy in the entertainment center. Xbox should have no problems fitting for me, but PS5 is something else. Will be very interesting to see if they can slim this bad boy down in future iterations. Really like that you can already customize the outer plates on the PS5 with custom shells.
I can't wait until we get some more video breakdowns of how it actually works in game. I am really hoping it works the way i think its going to. The triggers for me are what i am most intrigued with. I am really hoping the trigger tension changing depending on weapon actually works in practice.
