Sorry looks like i needed to re-watch the video. Looks like i was mistaken, its not proprietary its a standard CF connector. So the possibility of an adapter could actually work.
I am sure at some point somebody will make an adapter to plugin to the back of the console that goes from xbox proprietary connection to USB C, and you will just be able to use an external NVME enclusure to add whatever expandable storage you want as long as it meets the required read/write specs. All the back proprietary port is doing is basically just a slot that connects directly to a PCIe4 bus.
Can't wait for this game. Even though its not made for "Next Gen" on consoles, it will be a next-gen experience with all the attention to detail.
Has worked great for other games. Gears, Sea of Thieves etc. I don't see why its an issue now that consoles offer 120fps so there is an even playing field. They will also have matchmaking based on input device to keep it fair between M/K and Controller users.
Do you guys think the tension will actually change on the triggers? If so that is really where i think the game changer will lie in the dual sense.
Its great for those who still go back and revisit one of the best collections of games on one disc. All Single Player Campaigns, All Multiplayer Maps, 120fps and Cross-Play with PC friends. I don't think any of that is a bad thing. I mean even Demon Souls and Spiderman are old games based on old game engines with a new coat of paint, also a good thing.
The game engines are so old that RayTracing would take rebuilding the whole game. Upgrading resolution, framerate and HDR won't be a problem though.
Responsiveness at 120hz is definitely better, also no screen tearing if you have the right TV Setup. There have however been issues running at 120hz on PC with bullet spread and hit registration. Lets hope they have this fixed by the time the update comes out.
Also - a re-imaginging of Perfect Dark would be amazing built ground up for Series X.
Nice, i hope they pull some of these classics out of their back pocket and do what Activition did with Crash 4 but for their IP's. Would be great!
Not sure what i said in my statement that wouldn't make this apparent, but to each their own.
I think its just that there aren't any Series S consoles that we know of currently in the wild. I hope we get more coverage of it at some point so we can see how it performs prior to launch. Not getting a series S, but im genuinely interested in seeing its performance vs the One X.
Don't know your problem with a classic game that still has a great community of players and still has a large base of players. People always revisit Halo. Hell, its a more popular game overall than the Souls Games and Demon Souls is an old game being revisited with newer graphics and no complaints there. I just don't understand fanboys at all - always only concerned with their own agenda instead of things that are actually good for games.
Very cool that it will be on par with MCC PC now and also adding Cross-Play! Fantastic. It will be cool to be able to play all the Halo games the way they were meant to be played on Xbox where it originated! If it plays as good as it does on PC, we are in for a treat. Halo 3 at 120fps is for sure a game changer. Plus play with your friends on PC or on Xbox, the options are unlimited with the future Microsoft is building. Lets hope they can somehow get discord integrated for chat cross-plat...
Still haven't played this game yet. Loved Infamous Second Son though. Will have to break into that game once i get my ps5.
