Having Jens Pulver in an MMA game is about as much of a draw as having Mr NoLimbs in an athletics game.
He was a good fighter many many moons ago but he hasnt won a fight in a LONG time, he's simply outclassed by the newer generations of fighters.
But Devil May Cry 4, Lost Planet 2, Bionic Commando, and Resi 5 have all been pretty poo - and these are big well loved franchises that could have been amazing.
I would debate that Street Fighter 4 is pretty crap too but thats just my opinion.

Ive only seen footage from the campaign mode so its hard to judge. Hopefully online it will be back to its PS2 glory days.

People still buy PS2's so possibly the profit made from the hardware is enough to keep servers up and running which acts as an incentive for people to keep buying the hardware - its kind of a self sustaining circle. When people stop buying PS2's then im guessing the servers will dissapear.
The stylus isnt the same as a second analogue stick since its hard to press buttons while holding the stylus.
Turning the 3D effect off just makes it a handheld with the same capabilities as the current PSP.

The costs to the distributor in server costs and all that carbon footprint hippie stuff would be offset by the saving of not manufacturing millions of disks/boxes/manuals and then shipping them all over the world in desiel belching cargo ships and trucks.
In the short term the cost would be about equal but in the long term then digitial distribution would be more cost effective and far more enviromentally friendly.

DD is convenient. You prefer having a physical copy in your hand, i prefer having all those pretty icons lined up on my PS3's XMB were i can flit between games without having to get off the couch.
The download speed thing isnt an issue for me on a 20mb connection so downloading is often less of a ballache than going to the store and dealing with some spotty little shit behind the counter.
