Those same reviews also talk about a culture of crunch and burn out at ND, I suspect it's a place where malcontents go to vent so i wouldn't take it too seriously unless you want 343 to be the bad guys of course.
I thought it's look great and the demo made me excited to play it, don't understand all the negativity. I saw basically a corridor shooter turned into an open world game with RPG lite elements running on a new custom engine with a totally new lighting pipeline. AS DF mentioned in their analysis games like the LoU2 have a pre-baked lighting system that looks really good if you are willing to throw human souls at it to adjust the lighting manually but 343 decided to go for a real-time g...
Also helped that MS kicked themselves in their own balls and fell to the ground writhing which pretty much describes how they started out the gen. PS just walked over the comatose body and never looked back.
I'm also very skinny and tall it's just that I have big hands like most guys. You actually don't find those 2 button placements annoying at all?
All I want is for it to be better than the PS4 controller which was not a good controller imo. Fix the triggers and make it so I can press the menu and share buttons without clicking the touch pad as I have banana man fingers that can't thread a needle. Looking forward to the new haptics and the shape looks more ergonomic but there are still a lot of things to fix.
Well they probably know Abby as they were trained by the WLF.
But luckily you can still slaughter and inflict suffering on as many humans as you can possibly want
This is an issue now? Well I guess so from reading some of the comments. It's called advertising, if they don't want you to read something they put it in the smallest print possible on the back.
Took me so long to gold this track back in the day. If you blinked for a second during this 10 minute marathon you would fail and have to start again. Finally cracked it by looking at leader ghosts and what tactics they used. Good memories!
Agreed it was terrible and if that is what the writer thinks is a great game I can't take him seriously.
It's starting to become a tad stale. Loved Origins but Odyssey starting feeling like more of the same and very grindy. I would say they have maybe one more game in them like this before sales fall off again and they have to change the formula hopefully to something with far less fat on it and more game. Will still purchase this one as it looks great and I like the change of tone but it's starting to wear again like it did with Syndicate a few years ago.
I must be a crappier player than you because I was on normal and it took a long time, not difficult just laborious. You have to admit that apart from the design of the thing the actual game play was pretty uninspiring. It was surprisingly quick and the only tactic seem to be running far enough away so you could have more time to unload whatever weapon you had on you and then just rinse and repeat. Far better boss fight was the one at the end of the island where they used the superb melee cont...
Great monster, terrible game play to kill it. A bullet sponge that chases you through a small maze until you throw enough ammo at it and then it splits off a mini-me who joins in the fight. Great! Was so relieved to get through the fight as the terror had long turned to frustration by about the 10 minute mark.
It's the filler and grinding that's the problem not length.
Just an article about SSD's, telling us nothing new.
I thought they already did this, pretty sure you can't put in a review until after the release date.
If half of that stuff turns up I'll be happy.
Pretty much felt the same way, forgot how frustrated (and bored) I was through a lot of this game especially Ellie's part but I loved the game-play, story and acting. Good review.
I hated the changes they made with the story, game design and characters in the latest God of War, feel they betrayed the whole series but I don't hate the people who made it or the voice actors. It's a game, just won't purchase the next one made by the same team. It's quite simple to show your displeasure without being a vocal twat let alone making death threats but hey it seems that's social media today, everything's a team pile-on. Loved TLOU2 and the story by the w...
That makes no sense, Watchdogs first showing was actual game play that totally changed when released while the other was a game engine demo against actual game play. I thought they made that very clear at the time.
