There are usually around 10,000 concurrent users on Steam not counting Xbox or PS but really it doesn't matter as long as there are enough people on the servers to play which there always were and will be for a long time now with the PS players coming on board. Same goes for how many people bought it and how many are on GP, we aren't the accountants of these console companies so why would we care?
The thing with QB is that it ended on a cliff hanger, what happened to Beth at the end of time, will Jack save her? I don't care who owns the rights but we need to get another game from Remedy and finish the story. Whoever is holding this back needs to step up.
It should be a combination of quality and time played that determine the price but since quality is so subjective that's never going to happen - just empty talk from him.
Looks interesting as does the Wild Hearts article below it, didn't even know that game was on there. That's the thing about Game Pass, it is easy to miss good games.
God of War went downhill after 2 and 3 and turned into a Dad of Bore tank simulator so thanks but no thanks Cliffy. Gears of war 4 and 5 were excellent games so more like that though they are going to be struggling with "that" character choice we all had to make for the next game.
Would rather they did a QB2, Control just didn't grab me, always being inside and that non sensical story left me unengaged though it had nice visuals. QB was left on a cliff hanger so wish they would finish it.
Looking forward to it as I really enjoyed The Medium, good atmosphere puzzles and really nailed the story which I wasn't expecting to be so hard hitting. Will be interesting to see what they do with a Silent Hill game.
I'm the total opposite to Metro. I think Remedy's 3rd person combat while not terrible has always been mediocre and has been that way since Max Paine while their story telling while it can be confusing and a bit cheesy is easily the most interesting thing about their games. When I think back to the first Alan Wake I never thought "give me some more shooting" but was always interested in where the story was going. Metro has weird takes.
Great game, don't listen to the naysayers, the combat isn't a problem unless you think it should be played like Doom. Only real problem is getting lost in the samey maze like corridors. Overall story and puzzles are great. If you like the visual feel and puzzles do your self a favour and go out and play it.
It's an open world first person space game with a main quest and lots of side quests done to a high AAA quality where the emphasis is on player choice. If the author doesn't like that genre he should go play one of the other dozens of genres, it's not like this is the only game made now, AA and indie gaming has become much stronger in the last few years. Don't know what this guy is smoking.
My experience is it is such a massive game with so many different systems it takes about 10 hours to figure everything out and settle into the game and story.
Because Ryan is outright lying with that statement which makes sense as he will say anything to stop the ABK deal and bad mouth GP as it's detrimental to PS. No mystery here.

Hexen, Heritic, Singularity. Raven Software though probably very different staffwise from it's hay day are wasted on COD

TLDR; He loves it and think the game has improved in every way apart from two features - the RPG elements to upgrade and missing split screen.
