Great game, bigger more detailed open world and more sub quests then previous games. The one thing that did annoy me is changing tools/guns on the wheel and picking up specific objects from the ground which can be iffy which isn't good in the middle of combat. Otherwise am really enjoying the expanded scope.
For existing PS fans this probably great for everyone else very underwhelming.
He has the 120 million PS4 and the 18 or so million PS5 owners still purchasing 1st party games at $70 a pop so atm he isn't worried. In a couple of years when the PS4 owners drop off and if the Xbox catches up to the PS5 numbers then he will start worrying but he doesn't have to today, it's why he said things may change in the future.
Great game, beautiful environments, awesome gun play and open world. My only problem was the massive difficulty spikes when you are up against bosses and henchmen later on (could just be me not being very good) but apart from that it was a delight to play, would recommend to any PS5 players
Does anyone really want to "conserve" games like Destiny 2 and Fortnite? Mostly kids play these games and they like the live service approach as it makes them less boring. I have nephews in their early mid teens and they find static single player games incredibly boring but they love Fortnite, Destiny 2, CoD. Personally I don't play live service games like Fortnite so I don't care if they are conserved or not and neither do the player base that are playing them so I don'...
Well at Tuesdays Pervets United Club meeting we never approved it, wasn't even on the agenda!
Underrated game, played it on the Series X, tough game but beautiful PS players should enjoy.
For such a heavy story/character game this is pretty funny. Could bring in a completely new audience 😁
I played it for about an hour about a year ago and haven't touched it since, time to fire it up on the Series X and see if the wait has been worth it.
Was it enticing though? All I remember back at the reveal and subsequent showings was a wall of hate about the trendy protagonist, his beats headphones, the underwhelming gameplay and terrible framerate. Weird that it has now turned into this unrealized masterpiece from some in the community. By the way I am aware that some were looking forward to it but I would say they were a decided minority.
Yes there is no other way of acquiring talent, money makes the world go around. If you also give them as much possible freedom and support them to do the best possible job then that helps as well of course. Both Sony and MS (and every other corporation) primarily use money to get their talent. It's pretty obvious but some people have romantic ideas around this type of thing.
Lo Wang sounds like a surfer dude, what happened to the politically incorrect Chinese accent?
This is the best thing that has happened for years, every time a read a sore comment/article about this I have a chuckle. Thanks MS!
Looks fantastic, we need more WW2 planes in the game.
I would put 5 above 6 but agree with the other ratings. Though 6 has more refined gameplay compared to 5 it's lack of a compelling story really does hurt it imo but if you are a gameplay fiend and don't really care about story it makes sense.
Well if you tend to play 200+ games one at a time I'm not sure why you are on Gamepass, it's not the service for you. On the other hand if you are not that type of gamer and like playing a selection of games some big some small then Gamepass would be a good deal, if you find a game that you like that takes longer than a month to play then you get a discount to buy and your saves don't go anywhere.
Some people expect Gamepass to be the be all and end all and if it doesn...
That's fine, their game their rules. Wouldn't want From Software to change how they want to make their games and the same goes for Double Fine.
Terrible article, reads like it was written by a 12 year old for their class project. The actual game play will be no different to how it was 12 months ago, all the improvements will be graphically as we already know that some of the new engine's graphical features weren't finished when that demo was made. If they can show off the graphical improvements it will be a win for them, the only other thing that matters is the story as the gameplay looked fine from last year.
The problem is, at least in my opinion, the weakest games in the series have been the ones where Chief was not in them or a minor character - ODST, Reach Halo 5 - so going off that history I would definitely disagree with the author of the article. We need Chief front and center for the foreseeable future. God of War kept Kratos over multiple games and look how that turned out. It's not the Chief that is the problem rather the game writing and gameplay which is getting a bit rusty, change...
Don't think it's gamers so much, it's more the game publishers who see it as easy money for less effort.
