Not trolling honest question, when I played Forza and i used the right trigger to accelerate it pushed back against me and juddered if I went around a corner. I was wondering what the difference was.
Doesn't the Xbox controller already have adaptive triggers?
When was the last time a AAA studio innovated? Studio's create new IP's that are carbon copies of other games in terms of gameplay and innovation but just with a different look, story and characters. AAA gaming has become like blockbuster movies - all the same old nonsense with a different coat of paint or player perspective (1st to 3rd person for instance). There should be more AA studios around innovating like there used to be, they don't have the same financial pressures of AAA...
As long as Ubisoft doesn't turn it into "Assassins Creed: Star Wars", if they do I'm out
Did anyone think that playing this game on their base Xbox One or PS4 was going to be graphically awesome and have amazing performance? I certainly didn't and wouldn't even try to play it on anything less than the mid gen upgrade machines or preferably the new gen machines. I mean playing the latest game on a 7 year old console was never going to be great, this is definitely buyer beware on the base last gen consoles.
I thought she was a YouTube personality and games "journalist", what games has she written for?
And it's nice that you don't have to fork out a bunch of money for extra controllers if you have old ones. Most new features on controllers never get used by 3rd party devs anyway.
i didn't even know she was a game writer
I'm surprised Gamespew didn't try to contact the devs and ask why?
I don't know why anyone thought it was hardware based, MS has been very clear on how it worked but yes I agree with your other points that there is usually a day one patch on new consoles/games anyway. This is one of the weirder complaints I have seen that's for sure.
You have to patch your games if you want backwards compatibility to work, this is how it has always been. I mean they say it at the end of the article:
“To ensure players’ backwards compatible catalog of games play best on Xbox Series X|S, the system connects to Xbox Live to download any patches or configuration settings during installation from a physical disc. Once the game has been successfully installed and updated, gamers will be able to play offline with the disc inse...
They were really just there to hide loading so once you have seen them once what is the point
Well ACG's PS5 just stopped working completely so yes there are problems with the PS5 as well.
To be fair that site pretty much says the same about the PS5 in that review
Pachter - the guy fan boys listen to and agree with when he says something negative about the console they hate and then say he is a no nothing blowhard when he says something negative about the console they love.
"some of the overheating reports were overblown as it was later proved that the console doesn’t really get that hot."
Really? Hard to believe that the internet can exaggerate something to score cheap points.
Congratulations to the Dlala team. I enjoyed this game, brutishly difficult in places but weirdly fun at the same time. I look forward to their next game
Looks great! People in the comments seem to expect a Doom Eternal style game in a Geiger universe which makes no sense to me. It's like complaining about Alien Isolation because you couldn't punch out the alien and teabag him. It's going to be slower paced, if you don't like that I'm not sure why you are in the comments, every indication from the May event is that it was going to be this type of game.
A lot of people here (mainly concern trolls I would guess who are just looking for something new to bash the Xbox) going on about the Series S and sub 1080p but what about the Series X at 1440p? Something is up with this game if a 12TF RDNA2 16 GB box can't run a game a Yakuza game at 4K 60 as from what I've seen this game is hardly pushing the graphical boundaries. Would love to see how the PS5 is running this game when it comes out in march, it's either going to be running signi...
Do you know what the difference is because the triggers in the Xbox do vibrate in different instances like driving around corners in driving games, pulling bows for instance. Is it just a matter of more of that with fine tuning is it something totally different? I'm genuinely interested. Thanks for not being a dick about it in the first instance, quite rare in these comment sections.
