Hopefully it is revealing what Playground Games is up to with it's RPG but I'm not holding my breath.
I enjoyed both Dishonoured games very much especially the second one. Looking forward to Arkane's next game, hopefully they have more puzzles in them..
Don't listen to reviewers unless you absolutely know from past experience they have exactly the same taste as you, even then I would be looking at gameplay and other reviews across the spectrum.
Why is the 5/10 review way more popular here on NG4 than the 9/10 review?
There was zero hype, he is just using that as an argument to attack it.
People are acting like it will be one or the other where I would expect that there will, for the foreseeable future anyways, always be consoles but only the more hard core gamers will buy them, probably the same people who buy them now. The streaming service which will be inside smart TV's will be for more casual people who don't want to fork out the cash for a full system. Also physical consoles will still be needed for countries who don't have a broadband infrastructure or a ver...
This is the same answer Shaun Murray gave about NMS and is basically the same answer as was given a couple of days ago - no current plans to put out an Xbox version but not impossible in the future. If it was truly not ever coming out on Xbox they would just say so, these execs pick their words very carefully.
God I hope so in this age of interactive movies especially on consoles it would be a breath of fresh air for a game to actually concentrate on game play, anyway the story in this series was always silly so I can't believe anyone actually played it for the story.
He is a writer for the Playstation Enthusiast so I really doubt that.
I'm about half way through it and you are absolutely right, don't understand why it got such high scores.
It's not so much action/adventure single player games that are boring me it's the cinematic walking simulator aspects of those types of games and the adding a feature because it's popular check box design that is boring me. The pendulum needs to swing back to enjoyable and unique gameplay experiences where the story reinforces that rather than be the main selling point. For all the people that will disagree I'm not saying I hate those games I am saying that there has been a gl...
Lol, no thanks. Its like how they give every game rpg or survival elements as if that will fix a crappy game. We need more innovation, we need more AA games where devs are willing to take a risk..
I've been gaming for decades and there has never been so much choice in gaming than there is today. If people are really worried about online only and GaaS then they will die off but in reality they are only a small proportion of games anyway and I think this is a drama that doesn't really exist imo. I'm far more concerned about so many formulaic AAA games that follow a template than GaaS
I would be surprised if they put out the console next year but they have stated their "no more generations" mantra so if they treat it like an upgrade similar to the X then who knows especially if they suspect Sony is going to. We only have to wait 6 or 7 months to find out.
Have you got a link to where they said they hated working with MS?
For Alan Wake I think we got 3 pretty big DLC's and a second arcade game that was lengthy. It doesn't really need a sequel as I think it was played out but would be nice to see one anyway. Quantum Break definitely needs a sequel as it was left on a cliff hanger in regards to Beth and Paul at the end of time and what happen between the present day and that.
I get that MS was burnt by the long production time of QB and it not being the blockbuster they wanted but some of that w...
It's cool for a little while but then you get sick of it and go back to normal gaming. It needs to be at least wireless, have high frames and resolution on both eyes and the helmet needs to be drastically smaller and somehow dissipate heat out of it. Even then there are problems around moving in a VR environment. I think the concept of VR is cool but it is years away from being worth it to buy one and I worry that people jumping in now will be so put off that they will never buy one again...
I have 3 friends that have VR, 2 on the PS and one with OR and I have tried them all multiple times. None of those 3 people play it anymore and it just sits there next to their console or PC. The reasons are wearing a hot helmet on your head which fogs up at the slightest humidity and completely cuts you off from the outside world is not fun for more than 5 minutes, motion sickness unless you 'teleport" every few metres in a clumsy unintuitive way is not fun and apart from a handful ...
For those saying MS made them do it let me remind you that this game was published by Gearbox and its highly unlikely that they would tell Compulsion to gimp the game for the PS4 Pro. It's far more likely that this is the max resolution they can hit on the pro because of the way the game was designed or because the way the PS4 Pro was designed, no need for conspiracy theories.
