Thanks for being civil, I don't know if I would have been n the same situation lol. I enjoyed the tight gameplay and puzzles in the first but imo they were downgraded quite a bit in the second and the general focus wasn't as good but as you said different folks different strokes type of thing.
Darksiders 2 was inferior to the first game in every single way apart from size. I immediately don't trust this reviewer just from that initial statement.
Lol, this article won't go down well in NG4, most people here hate the Xbox.
The article doesn't say that.
Ask Terry Myerson. Once he left and Nadella promoted Phil Spencer to VP things have been changing at a rapid pace.
If they produce enough good exclusive content people will just let their subscription roll over and even if there isn't an exclusive game for that month they will probably just play one of the other 100's of games and wait for the next exclusive or play the multiplayer portion of the game as a lot of MS exclusives tend to have some type of co-op or multiplayer component. It's a good plan but needs those exclusives hence the creation and buying of so many studio's. We can only ...
Yep that rumour has been doing the rounds the last week, I don't know how much creedence I put into it but it would be a great buy for MS if they did as they need a good European dev.
It's over blown, the bigger problem is the generic nature of games these days. It's like the majority of them follow a stale formula so we get the same game with different assets and a different story. I can take a buggy game if it is original and/or interesting but a boring game that runs well is the worst imo.
Absolutely, I still remember it with crystal clarity now, very moving.
Because someone from Bethesda is standing behind him with a gun to his head?
It's like he has never played a game since he was 8 and played the first Fallout, only then would this "wow" anyone.
Life time sales will be a totally different matter.
It's called complacency. They have shown all their new games for this gen and they know they have this gen in the bag sales wise so why show up when it just costs them a lot of money. If history tells us anything it is that whenever these game companies get complacent it doesn't end up well.
Looking forward to what they can do with this game now they are willing to stretch their wings. Last one was a solid game albeit a bit safe but we saw what they can do with the different bosses and the awesome final level with the giant robots so am optimistic.
I expect the dude who did Del's voice to look different somehow, more like Del I suppose.
Normally they have a separate reveal event and then use E3 as a way to showcase features and games of the new system so they effectively have two bites of the cherry before the lucrative holiday season. They may intend on skipping E3 to focus on a reveal event but it would be weird not take advantage of the publicity of E3 unless they were hoping to release the console early in 2020 which is unlikely as it's so far away from the holidays.
If it's cosmetics I don't care, people are free to spend their money how they want, but if it affects gameplay or game design in any way then keep it out of games.
It is for about a couple of hours anyway. I was disappointed by this game, the traversal is terrible (made slightly better by the air dash which you get half way through the game) and the tower defence sections are excruciating. Some ok laughs here and there though and the world is colourful. Would give it a 6 or 7 out of 10.
Agree, Hellblade just didn't connect with me despite some nice graphics, Enslaved and DMC were both solid games though especially Enslaved and would love to see something else from that universe.
The title is a bit clickbatey but the article itself is rather fair and considered however the fanboys in the comments are off the charts. If you don't own an xbox god knows why you would care so much as to type anything and if you do own one then a cautiously optimistic wait and see approach is the only sane response. Personally I am looking forward to what these studios can do based purely on what they have done before and I do think xbox today is different to xbox in the 360 era, new m...
