Well deserved. I'm having a hard time playing newer games that should have definitely knocked it out of my console.
Man, I'd bubble you multiple times for that comment. Well said, indeed.
@Neonridr
I actually was saying that a spa and cell phone are each luxury items just like a gaming console, though admittedly, my verbage was a bit wonky.
A gaming console is not a luxury item? People spend a lot of time in a spa and on cell phones. By your logic those are not luxuries either... talk about first world ignorance.
I just hope FF gets some love... any love next gen.
Gonna thunder tonight, they say... but, then it typically never matters what "they say".
Been hearing about this for a while from my loose lipped friends who work at Microsoft. Forbes ain't alone ... Joysiq just had an article about this too.

Someone making a sociopolitical judgement and then several of us countering the ignorance... you know, business as usual on N4G =)
I love DD:DA and I think this score is a bit too high. There is some major tweaks Capcom can do for a sequel... I'd still rate it at a 8.5 or so.
Shoot, I guess I better conform to someone's ignorant overgeneralization cuz I'm white and liberal and had no problem with the character.
WTF? Um, more info, Cappy and beyond that a fix STAT!
*grumbles "One save...."
I wanted to find fault too... but I'm having way too much fun. As I get further into the DA content, I find myself more and more amazed. The only nerf I've found was Invisibility became less insanely OP. It's still incredibly powerful but just needs more management/stamina. Still really glad I got my killshot on the UrDragon right before the nerf though..
Yes, love this game!!
I'm finding DD:DA in hardmode pretty difficult as well but mainly because I'm being lazy, lol. I knew better than to be lazy playing Souls games. Another reason is the DA content has added a little 'cheap' for my whine. Getting one shotted by so many creatures at lvl 150 w/ endgame gear is hilariously frustrating... The dungeon design is also pretty fun. It's a little deceptive.
I had been doing so good... but with the last 1/2 price sale on the DLC, I caved. But it was with the realization that my vanilla Skyrim is virtually worthless as a trade-in so it had become the cheaper route. I knew this was going to be announced right after I bought the DLC, lol/cry.
Yes, following the player character's path wouldn't work in a game like Demon's Souls. A prequel depicting the downfall of Boletaria might work except that Hollywood likes it's happy endings.
Glad something's happening soon'ish. Here's hopin'...
I found that the flaws (textures, voice acting, trite-plot) were easily overlooked for the fun-factor. I absolutely love the mechanics and art direction. I'm very pleased with my re-purchase with only one night of exploration into the new content.
^Inorite!
Great list ... for the more recent games. It doesn't really go that far back. I'll never forget the intro for the NES Ninja Gaiden. I replayed the death of Ryu's father hundreds of times for my friends.
One of my favorites this gen would be Demon's Souls. Sold me on PS3, that's for sure.
I find the wording "age old" pretty funny, since GoW is 8 yrs old. The age of your avg 3rd grader.
