Maybe I meant to say give them the benefit of the doubt regarding their judgment over some gamers on the internet just calling a game woke because it has a female protagonist. Like I said before SP are much different than most other Sony studios. They aren’t huge by any means. They expand very slowly and have key roles filled bu long time studio members
If they could decide the original JIN story than I believe they do deserve the benefit of the doubt. I personally want...
It’s surprising how some people only consider first-party titles as PlayStation exclusives, when in reality, since the PS1 era, Sony has always relied on second and third-party developers. They’ve made major investments in the Chinese development scene and have plenty more in the works. The closure of Sony Japan doesn’t mean they’ve stepped away from Japan—many of the developers have joined other Sony studios.
Sony is also known for securing timed exclusive deals when their...
Sure I understand you don’t want a PS5 pro level specs but can we at the very least get OG PS5/XSX level specs? Nintendo make awesome games and we as gamers don’t want tech limitations
Sucker punch studios have had almost the same talent for a long long time. They are a much smaller team compared to other Sony studios. They are gamers themselves so please trust their judgement. If they felt Jin would have been better SP would do it
Sucker punch has been with Sony for decades and make awesome games. Please let’s not put them in the same box as UBI and their agendas or any other greedy studios
And coming for my team at SUCKERPUNCH, who are nothing but gamers themselves

Regular pro isn’t hard to get at retail on a pre order. It’s the 30th anniversary edition that’s selling out
Single player games don’t sell, Every game needs to be turned into game as service to make money and we don’t need games that only cost $70-$80 million to make we want games which cost $400 million

I think they will be bought out and turn private company. Most likely buyer being 10 cent since they already own stock. UBI under 10 cent might run better TBH.

Everything you said is correct but the main issue this generation has been their inability to listen to and this current leadership structure don’t intend to listen it seems
Don’t forget it was hulst who saw concord and said we must buy the studio. So their ability to judge a pitch/project is in question. Jack tretton and shawn layden along with others connected with gamers. During conferences their actions and reaction spoke to their love for ...
As a lifelong PlayStation fan, it’s disheartening to see the current state of the brand. I’ve been loyal since the PS1 days, and over the years, PlayStation has been synonymous with innovation, groundbreaking games, and putting players first. But lately, it feels like the PlayStation I grew up loving has lost its way.
What happened to the PlayStation that brought us unforgettable experiences when it hit rough patches, like during the early PS3 era? Back then, they fought to...
As a long-time fan of the Yakuza series, having supported it since the early days when it was underappreciated by many, I’m really excited about this new Like a Dragon pirate game. Back then, we imported the games, spread the word, and stood by the series. It really hit its stride with Yakuza 0, but when Sega shifted to turn-based combat in Like a Dragon, it felt like the series was taking a different direction.
That said, I’m glad Sega is now offering something for both ol...
I hope this is true I never played these games but heard great things about them. Hopefully the remastered versions include quality of life improvements and better accessibility options
They could do a lot right by simply announcing a blood-borne remastered so many people have been waiting for it and they should not only bring it to PlayStation 5 but also PC
If they are all intent on doing a lot of remasters, how about doing some of the remasters from the games during the PlayStation 2 and three generation instead of PlayStation 4 games?
Can we get infamous collection? Can we please get Socom from the PlayStation 2 generation? Uncharted ...
I am a PC gamer and I don’t see any issue with that like the person above Said we have to have different accounts to play different publisher games so what’s one more
Yakuza dead souls was awesome and very underrated (if they could remaster it with updated controls it would be perfect zombie game)
This will be awesome too
Good more gamers will get to play it
Darksiders 2 is getting a remastered for PS5/XSX (atleast they are giving current owners free upgrade) but this generation has been filled with remasters and remakes. What I don’t get is where are the games from Sony themselves? Many of their studios haven’t released a single new game this generation and others who released around launch and have been quite ever since
I know they have a bunch of quality 2nd party exclusives but I don’t remember PlayStation studios output...
sony and ms want all digital because they can control the market. They can dicate prices without needing to offer major discounts. What i don't understand is if you like digital go that route(i am a PC gamer so my collection is all digital on PC's)
the Physical market is still 30-35% of all sales. Yes i know it's hard to believe but no publisher wants to give up on 30% of it's overall sales. Neither ms or sony have the guts to make digital only platform ...
enjoy the console it's your money. So much arguments over nothing. It's all subjective. It's your money buy pro if you want and enjoy it. Soon enough games will cost $89 or $99 because publishers refuse to control their development budgets and on top of that spend record high on PR
One more gen and after that it will be all PC's anyway
This is the same company that once claimed selling 7.5 million copies of Tomb Raider didn’t meet their expectations. Square Enix can complain all they want, but their own questionable decisions have led them to where they are today.
Look at the track record:
1. Marvel’s Avengers (2020)
Despite the hype around the Marvel brand, this game was criticized for repetitive gameplay and a lackluster story. Sure, it had decent early sales, but it quickly ...
