What’s really funny in all of this, there were Xbox fans who said MS didn’t need Xbox to recoup the money since MS has enough money. When Xbox was it’s own little thing doing ok but the moment MS invested that money, things changed and now Xbox brand must be in line with MS business
Only Xbox fanboys don’t understand the business logic. Rest of us get it. When your parent company lets you spend 80-100 billion they want results. Results on XSX with a much smaller install base are a lot harder. PlayStation brand is the strongest in the world for multiple generations now so they want to take advantage of that
They run a business, that business is no longer independent (sort of how they were before the acquisitions) MS spent $75-80 billion in acquisitions and they want Xbox division to be self sufficient and turn profit. MS as a company are use to huge profits so if a division can’t carry its weight usually they get rid of it

i for one am glad that moving forward most games will see release on multi platforms. More gamers get to play, more money and bigger budgets for future games
It’s amazing how many gamers want this game and this would be easy money. I don’t know what’s taking Sony so long. Just make it 60FPS and upres. Release it on PS5 than later again at full price for PC

Vast majority are but some big ones are starting to skip so there lies the point. GP has been a double edged sword, it’s great for gamers but now so many of those who have signed up for GP won’t buy games which aren’t on GP
Whether it’s fake or not it’s this mindset the main reason for games to skip Xbox. Way too many Xbox gamers just want every game to be on GP and they skip buying games which aren’t on Xbox
You do know it costs 7 figures to port over the game to Xbox so if in the end publishers won’t even make they porting costs back they aren’t interested in doing all the work for such a small profit or break even

It will be very interesting to see how this game does if it is released on Xbox. We all know a great majority of Xbox gamers only play games on game pass so if this game isn’t on game pass, how many will actually buy it?

Not sure about funding other games but moving forward we will see that more and more. The day Halo, gears and forza are playable on PlayStation aren’t that far off now
