Are you the same rock under which Patrick from SpongeBob lives?
That's true. Hopefully they can get it right
This is bungie their FPS sell. They know above all how to get the gameplay right. Moment to money gameplay
I think all games will end up on switch from Xbox. MS has embraced going to other platforms now if games aren't doing well on Nintendo MS may be more selective in the future
On playstation they have been quite successful
Yes sir but you do realize that from software own the IP. They can do whatever they want. Look at death stranding on Xbox
I was thinking about this earlier today—COVID really accelerated the shift toward digital game sales, since people couldn't easily access physical media during lockdowns. That moment gave digital a major boost, and now with tariffs potentially driving up the cost of physical products, we might see digital adoption speed up even more.
Publishers could easily use these tariffs as an excuse to hike physical prices—maybe even by $10 or more—making digital seem like the more...
I think switch 2 will do well but dominate I think we need to wait and see. The prices of the console and games is much more than switch so don't expect parents in this inflation time to spend $600 on 2 games and a console. Since it's Nintendo it should sell but I think we are underpaying the importance of the inflated market
Since they own the IP I think it will come to PC and Playstation since PlayStation owns stocks in their company anyway
Sony helped them not be acquired by someone else
That's fine but hopefully it will be a Xbox app based instead of windows
I am not asking the Xbox handheld to run steam, I just wanted a dedicated Xbox app on the handheld that handles everything from playing games, downloading games, gamepass and most importantly all updates are done from that app. Just a better overall user experience
Having to download multiple different things on a Windows based device becomes really a chore in a smaller screen.
I really hope this isn't a windows based device even though coming from MS that's highly unlikely. SteamDeck is much much easier to use and offers a much better user experience than any other handheld device because it's all based on steam app. The Xbox handheld should be based on that because a Windows device with a 7-8 inch screen makes it's difficult to navigate
Gameplay should be better in a sequel but story and characters are much much much much better in TLOU. There is a reason the original sold 3 times as much
Why can't we play destiny and all it's content is beyond me. Really don't have a lot of confidence in bungie anymore. Just very anti consumer company
Play the original whihx is much better
To not go with a SSD atleast 1TB is baffling in 2025. That should be the standard
People often assume that game developers are making huge money, but the reality is more modest. Most devs earn a salary somewhere between $75k–$90k, and the real financial upside only comes if the game is successful enough to bring in royalties—something that’s far from guaranteed.
But the real problem isn't just the developers, or even purely greedy CEOs and executives—though they absolutely share the blame. The truth is a bit deeper and more frustrating. Gaming is now...
Exactly Nintendo has gotten away with so much nonsense. Could you imagine ms or Sony releasing a console that costs 450 with those specs in 2025?
Way too many journalists grew up with Nintendo so that's why Nintendo gets a free pass
Gaming journalists truly have no backbone. This should have been free so if it came in lower than expected it means it's too expensive to begin with since it's supposed to be free
Nintendo once charged $50 for a cardboard box and called it innovation. And we can thank Nintendo for raising game prices to $90 moving forward. You think publishers like EA and take two don't love that? $90 for base game and $100 for 3 day early access is where we are going. Playst...
Nintendo fans will buy it and Nintendo knows it. At this rate GTA6 will be $99.99 and many other AAA games 2ill now cost $80. This hobby was never cheap but over the past 10 years hedge fund investors have just ruined gaming
Please don't support it. Take a stance for something. For once let's stick together as a gaming community and say no to this greedy practices
Those rumors have been going on for weeks now
