The level of greed in gaming is just absurd. Ever since hedge fund has gotten interested in gaming they just want bigger and bigger profits. This 3 day early access is such nonsense since that use to be the regular release.
Could you imagine how much GTA6 3 day early release will cost and it will break all sorts of records just for early release. GTA6 will set bad trends that others will follow

GTA6 has a budget of over 2 billion. Just think about it. AAA budgets have have raised way too much. A proper AAA game costs around 150-200 million
To make Consoles take hundreds of millions of R&D while these handheld systems should be pretty cost effective. I think portable handheld like deck and rog are just getting started and as they move forward things will change. Deck should be available at bestbuy and Amazon. Besides switch there wasnt much of a portable market and now there seems to be some intrigue

I don't think releasing it day on on PS5 and NS2 would hut the game at all. Xbox gamers get to play the game day one on GPU while anyone else who wants to play it will pay full price. MS would get the best results. Make their fanbase happy and generating extra revnue from sales. in 12 months time once enough xbox games are on other platforms this wouldn't be a major news anytime a xbox games is released elsewhere

someone should have bought WB in 2020 when companies were buying each other. Now they are stuck making bad games and or cancelling new projects. Keep chasing live service money i guess
i am glad they are giving more time to make the game. No need to rush it with other games releasing this year from MS. On this site it has become a trend to hate on xbox but they are still the biggest publisher by a long wide margin

That's very true. GTA6 not launching on Pc means PS5 pro will be the best place to play it. It will be very interesting to see if sales of pro pick up around launch of GTA
And some think Sony will slow down fbe releases. We will see some games launch day one on Pc along with playstation and others will come 6 or 12 months after release

Only executives are safe everyone else is expandable. This industry can't continue to sustain this model. It's all about the profits and spread sheets
Publishers and developers should pay attention to their first reveal of gameplay or major showing of the game for the first time and if a game gets a lot of negative press pay attention to that. Concord and dragon age both got way too much negativity and dislikes yet Sony and EA pushed the games through and launched to being huge flops. There are not too many gamers where their initial reveal got hate for them to turn out to be great games. First impression tells you a lot

You know the only thing I am hoping for is this studio has never had great budgets for their games and now that they're under Microsoft maybe they can truly achieve their vision and make a true Blockbuster AAA RPG
But it seems like they want to make AA quality games. Imagine a fallout new Vegas or outter worlds 2 with big budget
