Everything reaches its pinnacle before it crashes down. Final Fantasy X was Square's pinnacle.

SO4 wasn't so bad. 3 is the one that was terrible. I loved SO 1 and 2, I couldn't believe how bad 3 was.
If they can make it funny or interesting, why not?
It still annoys me that it wasn't released for PC first.
Well, I'm not him, but I have Uncharted, Ragnarok Odyssey, Project Diva F, I have PS Plus, and I can't remember the last time I played it...
Yeah, I played it because it came with Sonic Gems. It was 1.5/10 bad indeed.
There's a difference between stating an opinion and trolling. "Maybe it is because I am not 6 years old" was really uncalled for.
But history also teaches us that lack of games and a high price can kill a console, even if such console is more technically advanced than the competition.
Launching a console is never a certainty of success. And it's not because Sony is a big company that it won't pull the plug on Vita if it doesn't sell well.
I agree. Of all the joysticks I ever used, the Dual Shock ones are the worst. The analog sticks are really bad (at least they last longer than Nintendo ones). I really like the Xbox 360 joystick. If only its digital D-pad was a little better...
Unfortunately, PS3 accepts many USB joysticks, but not the 360 one...
For me FFXIII-2 ended in a perfect way. I didn't love FFXIII-2, but really liked the ending. It ended in a way that I never saw any game having the guts to end.
I agree. It won't sell anything, just like Wii didn't sell at all because it was much weaker than PS3 and Xbox 360. Or like DS didn't sell because of the PSP. Or 3DS because of Vita.
It's all about the target audience. By now, everybody who understands a little about videogames and wanted to buy a Wii, already bought it. Nintendo won't release any other big games for the Wii, so the ones who'll buy a Wii from now on are only those who don't really care about games and will buy one only because of the cheap price (AKA casuals).
This version is aimed at the casuals who probably doesn't even know that videogames can connect to the interne...
I'm waiting for the PC version.
@Kingthrash360
But of course I'll judge a game based on the previous games of its series. If I didn't like the previous LittleBigPlanet games, and the videos show that it's almost the same, why would I waste my money buying it? If I didn't like Uncharted 2 enough to finish it and the Vita one is so similar, how could I like it?
Look, you people may love the games Vita has now, but look at all the people saying "Vita needs a killer app to make peop...
@Shikoro
Gravity Rush - played the demo, looks good, but not great. I'll play the full version someday, as I got it from PS Plus.
Sound Shapes - saw videos, didn't understand it, was planning to buy it to see it with my own eyes, but after PS Plus launched, I'll wait for it to be offered through the service.
LBP - I hate the floaty gameplay of the past games of the series and I don't think it'll be different on this version.
ACL - got tired ...

"but I and everyone I know that actually owns one is blindly in love with it"
I know one person who owns a Vita. Me. And I don't really like it. There still isn't a single game that made me say "wow, I'm glad I bought a Vita". I paid for PS Plus, so let's see if in the coming months they give me any great games.
As long as they don't let other consoles get in the way, like cutting things on the first version because they know they will port it to another console that won't be able to use these things, I'm OK with that.
I also don't like when they add more stuff (like PS2 versions of RE4 having more content than the GC one), because it makes the supporters of the first version, that believed in the game since the beginning, feel like they are left behind.
@Ippiki Okami
Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see that I wrote "it's the only thing that made the PS3 more expensive".
PS3 had that high price because of a number of factors. Blu-ray was the main reason, but using Cell was also a factor.
And, you see, I said what I wanted without calling anybody an idiot. You should try that.
No, you are wrong. What I said is that GPGPUs are much powerful than processors. They're cheaper and more efficient. The tradeoff is that developers have to learn to use its power.
Of course, there are some things that only a processor can do, but most of its tasks can be made to run on a GPGPU, and it will do them much faster. If this is accomplished, the CPU won't have to be so powerful.
Trading off CPU power for GPGPU power makes sense. Trading GPU...
