Wow, it seems I was wrong when I said it wouldn't get 900k in just four days. If only Mega Man fans supported Mega Man this way (Mega Man games sales were always terribly low - MMX8 didn't even sell 300k units), maybe Capcom would still be making Mega Man games.
It's good to see Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward getting some attention. Although I played it on Vita, it's one the most engaging game I ever played. It's actually the only game I ever got a platinum trophy.
For me RE5 was way more disappointing than 6. 5 was the sequel to one of the best games ever made, so I was expecting something in the same level or better. For 6 my expectations were way lower, so it disappointed me less.
Actually, it looks more like Silent Hill to me.
I wish every game came with the option of being $10 cheaper if I didn't want multiplayer modes.
The majority of the people who want this game already helped fund it. It'll be really difficult to get 900k more in just four days. Even if it was a month left, I think it wouldn't happen.
Just by the fact that your partner don't die and don't waste your bullets, it makes 6 way better than 5 for me.
RE4 is one of the best games ever! It's actually the only game I ever "platinued" (there weren't trophies, but I did everything there was to do in the game). But unfortunately it made Capcom think that people wanted more and more action, instead of keeping the fine balance RE4 has.
That's because Capcom said they would release it on PS2 before the GC version was released. People who would buy a GC to play it decided to just wait for the PS2 version instead.
Console gamers who never played on a decent PC think that the sub-HD graphics and 30fps are the best there is... And you say "good job trying to get a game that look as good as TLOU on 256 MB RAM", but you do know that they even stop background downloads because PS3 can't handle both of them together, right? On PC I can do so much while I play (do downloads, talk to friends with Skype, listen to music, leave browsers opened that are reachable by a simple alt+tab...)
It sure is! It's selling almost the same thing as the most successful Monster Hunter game ever, that was sold in a console with a bigger install base, but that's so disappointing... /s
Don't forget about the bad combat system with the dumb AI.
I hope they finish Persona 4 Arena's story. Ending the game without finding out the real culprit was a letdown.
Those who like consoles already decided between PS4, XOne or Wii U for their exclusives (and other console advantages). Those who like PCs already have PCs for gaming. Those who aren't gamers already play on their smartphones.
So I don't know who is Valve's target audience with the SteamBox.
Even after all these years, Linux has less than 2% of market share. I really don't think Steam OS will be able to change it.
I'm even guessing the Steam Box (or Steam Machine, whatever) will be just like Ouya - everybody saying "wow, it's really a game changer!" and after six months after launch everybody claiming how it could never succeed. I love Steam, but I really can't see why people would buy the Steam Machine (or even install Steam OS on their...
That's what I've been saying. I'm excited for this game (even helped fund it), but I think that Kickstarter and other crowdfunding sites should be used by people who don't have money to make their projects, not by well-known and rich people who could've done it either way.
Does anybody care about strategy guides?
I hope the story makes any sense.
[SPOILERS]
I thought that the world becoming Valhalla would stop time and death, but somehow now the world is going to end in 13 days...
[/SPOILERS]
I loved both Sonic Adventures, but playing them again nowadays... They really didn't age very well...
It would be good if Nintendo released numbers for its digital sales. All of my Wii U games purchases and 3/4 of my 3DS games purchases have been digital.
