I'll put $20 bucks on...
"Well we have dashboard themes coming in 2.0"
This is yet another neat feature for X1 and XBL.
MS is in onslaught mode for the OS and XBL... The features keep stacking up and Nintendo and Sony are standing there with almost no response.
I'm not going to obsess over the review scores. But, I am going to use them to decide whether to buy the game or get it later and much cheaper. (Notice I will be getting this game no matter what)...
I played the beta and wasn't overly impressed. Also, there hasn't been much shown about the campaign. To me the single player and co-op campaign are the most important and they just haven't had much air time.
So, I will wait and see based on all...
@G20WLY.
I don't think basing a FPS on Halo is a bad thing. I really like Halo. What I was disappointed in is that Bungie built another FPS futuristic science fiction based game.
For some reason I was expecting them go to a different genre and build a completely different IP that had nothing to do with their previous work. I just don't get why they needed to separate from MS to build this game. From what I have heard of Halo 5, I don't see where Bung...
You can get rid of 90% of the crap stuff by just viewing news articles. The site becomes acceptable when you do that.
The PS4 will have better resolution and framerates in many games...
But, with the work MS is doing on the cloud we will probably see more innovative gameplay elements on X1...
These companies are going in separate directions. The PS4 is "doing more of the same"... MS is trying to innovate on games by adding the cloud.
I am not saying one is better than the other, but one definitely has more potential to change games than the other...
Shouldn't be hard for MS to double their market share in Japan...
0% x 2 = 0%
Agreed.
When I heard bungie was going solo I thought they were doing this for a massive innovative new IP.
Once I played the beta all I thought was "they left MS to put the same stuff in a new ip? wtf?"...
Destiny is just a new ip based on the same Halo gameplay. Bungie fully admits that the game is based on the Halo Reach engine. The whole feel during gameplay is Halo...
Yawn. Another stability update...
I am worried about it. I spent over $2,000 on buying a Wii U, a PS4, and 4 XB1's.
I didn't buy them to replay the same games I already bought. I bought them because they were going to have a bunch of better, badder ass, and bigger games.
All these re-masters are just telling me I was an idiot for buying the next gen consoles right off the bat.
I see a few comments here about other games to remaster...
I cannot believe gamers are falling for this kind of mediocrity from publishers...
WE NEED NEW GAMES NOT REMASTERS!
I am fine with remasters. But they should come near the middle and the end of the generation when hardware is tapped out and they can make the best remaster possible on this gen's hardware...
Remasters now are ridiculous. I am stunned that gamers a...
I loved Defense Grid. Can't wait for the sequel to ship!
The Recycle Generation continues....
They are blatant money grabs when the game shipped last generation.
They had Dead or Alive 5...
Then a year latter Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate
Now Dead or Alive 5 for the Recycle Generation...
Metro reddux is pretty much a straight port from last gen consoles and a piece of crap.
Deep silver joined the game recycling band wagon that has dominated game releases this generation.
I can't believe that gamers have fallen for this crap. This is the last generation I buy a console in year one or two. I didn't pay $400-500 on each console to replay the same games over again. I bought them for new games and new experiences.
The remaster concept is an excuse to avoid including backwards compatibility. There is no reason that games that are only one generation old should be re-mastered. I totally understand Re-mastering a game like the original resident evil. But to remaster games that are barely a year or two old is ridiculous.
I will not buy these games until they are severely discounted.
I have coined this generation the "Recycle Generation"...
Publishers are recycling games more than ever...
Saints Row 1-4 with all of the DLC would've been a worthwhile re-master... Only Saints Row IV is lame. Even at $30...
Excellent game...
But, the Recycle Generation continues... Can we get some more new content on the consoles please?
A lot of people here are experts in games development I see...
Who cares anyhow? Personally, I would rather play a great game at 720p and 30 fps than an average game at 1080p and 60 fps...
But, that's just me... I care more about the overall game (story, gameplay, sound, game depth, etc) than the graphics... I know I am in the minority for that...
@BitbyDeath...
That list is obviously flawed...
There should be a category for console exclusives as FF XIV, DR3, and Ryse are for PC as well (Or at least they will be).
TLOU is a recycled exclusive.
Putty Squad, Bound by Flame, Dynasty Warriors 8, Injustice, Pinball Arcade, Tour de France, and Air Conflicts Vietnam is also on X360/PS3 so they are not at all exclusive.
Also on the digital side it is similarly...
@URNNightmare...
All gamers are winning with MS, Nintendo, and Sony competing hard...
