You obviously didn't watch the presentation...
Gigantic was announced. In all, 20 Indie Xbox / Windows 10 cross platform/play games were announced.
And they announced that wireless X1 devices will work equally on PC going forward.
And they announced that the store will provide the ability for cross Windows 10 and XBox platform buy.
I don't know how you miss this as a bunch of megatons. Indies almost always develop...
I don't think it is wrong that she has an opinion. But, if she wants to address this issue it is far beyond video games.
I go up town now-a-days and it is near impossible to find a woman not caked in makeup, and when they have stuff to show, they try to dress to show it.
So, really, games are just being an extension of what women are in real life today. If women want to be portrayed differently in games, maybe they should work on their image in the real...
Completely agree. The game is still a ways from launch, there can be a lot of changes, and we have yet to glean a single ounce of gameplay from the campaign side...
Also, comparing Destiny to anything is annoying. I liken Destiny to the hamster in a spinning wheel. You play forever and make no real tangible progress. Just like a hamster in a spinning wheel. Comparing any game to that is an insult to the game.
They are already on Windows 8 so getting to Windows 10 will require no changes. All they need to do is top up the table selection.
Consoles and PCs are two completely different markets...
Consoles are for gamers that don't want to spend the time configuring and managing a PC... PCs are for people who want the ultimate "no compromise" gaming experience regardless of the effort to maintain it.
Personally, I have both... I use a PC as a media server and work device. Then, I like the simplicity of a console for gaming.
Agreed. New Order was the best story driven shooter last year by far... 20 hours of pure campaign goodness!
There is no doubt I will be picking this game up. Machine Games completely deserves gamer's money. Too bad a lot of gamers only do multiplayer shooters or rent/buy used because it only had a campaign (They are missing out on a great shooter). I think Machine games deserves support for making just a really good SP game.
I bet if the parity rule was voted on by X1 owners axing it would fail...
The only gamers I ever hear whine about the parity rule are PS4 owners that seem to enjoy talking like they are X1 owners....
The only developers that whine about the parity rule are indies... Third party publishers seem to have no problem with it... Frankly, there is a "cost of doing business" when you make games... All MS is asking is that you ship on their platform at the...
I've played VR with Oculus Rift...
Essentially, the downfall of VR is its biggest strength... Immersion...
Yes, games are completely immersive and you can sit there in awe as you play...
But, if you are in a home/family setting there are usually a lot of interruptions... People asking you questions, phones ringing, people at the door, pets wanting outside, mealtimes, etc, etc... With a controller you just hit the pause button and deal w...
You obviously don't own an X1...
#IDARB, Roundabout, Riptide 2, and The Escapists have been a success.
Also, they continue releasing new characters for Killer Instinct, and there will be the standalone Forza Horizon Fast and Furious Expansion.
Add to that Screamride which is receiving very positive previews, Ori and the Blind Forest, and Neverwinter which has already shipped on PC and there is plenty of content in March not on the other...
In the past few weeks MS has announced:
Win 10 integration with XBL, more DX12 news, HoloLens, Forza Motorsports 6, the Screamride demo has got great reviews, they announced Neverwinter by the end of March, they have continued OS feature additions and updates, Fable Legends will be F2P, and EA Access is giving gamers early access to BF Hardline.
Why are these negative fanboy articles coming out now? Quite simply, insecure Sony fanboys and Sony Defense Forc...
As long as I have a pay option I am fine with it... And just like Killer Instinct it does seem to have a pay once option.
MS just keeps bringing it...
Windows 10/X1 integration, DX12 news, HoloLens, continued OS feature adds/updates, Forza Motorsports 5, Neverwinter at end of March, continued updates, Screamride seems to be a pleasant surprise, and now Fable Legends is F2P... So much for MS not having any games and gaming news in the January - Spring timefr...
Enjoyed all the comments in the thread. Entertainment at its best.
Why should people care about pre-access for people who are paying for the EA Access service?
EA was very specific when they started the service that it would provide early access in some cases. What is wrong with paying $30 and getting benefits like this from it? If you have a problem go pay the $30...
If the service isn't on your chosen platform... aka PS4. Go bitch ...
@Thefreeman012.
I could see if the expansion was called "The Master Chief Expansion"...
But tying the expansion to a car movie isn't exactly a massive leap. In fact, it is probably the best way to do another F&F game. I have no doubt it will run circles around the last F&F game.
He lost me at "Nothing to play on X1".
How do you see this as a movie spinoff? What it seems like they are doing is adding the cars from the fast and furious movies to FH2 and then will add them as another racing challenge set.
The trailer seems to show scenery that is already in FH2... So, my guess is they are taking all of the cars that are in Fast and Furious and putting them in the game with a bunch of new races.
I don't see how you call that a movie spinoff. Many racing games have done...
These are the types of opinion articles I would like to see more of on N4G.
No discussion of 1080p, 60 FPS, X1 or PS4 is better than the other, Y exclusives are better than Z exclusives...
Just an article about the goodness of a particular genre and sub genre of games!
So I just want to make sure I understand this...
Sony promised it as a launch title up until 3 weeks before its release... Then, (as if by some sort of act of God), it got delayed almost a full year from that (Is anyone stupid enough to believe Sony didn't know until 3 weeks before launch the game was a mess?)... Then, they shipped with online as a broken mess (which was one of the centers of the game experience), then they didn't deliver the PS+ as promised on the s...
Given that only a handful of real games have run at 60 FPS...
Not infamous SS, not Shadow of Mordor, not Destiny, not Dragon Age, not DriveClub, and even TLOU had an option for steady 30 vs fluctuating 60...
People really have to stop caring about this. There are more games running at 30 FPS than 60 FPS this generation. Just accept it and move on.
"Revamp of the game system"...
Ummm. Does that mean I will just mash more/different buttons?
I love these games... But each time I purchase one and finish it, I have to buy a new controller!
@Moldiver...
I think that it is "looking" better than Destiny on the surface. But, there is a difference between "looking" better, than actually "being" better.
At this point it is premature for so-called gaming "journalists" to make that call. I think that is all Predaking77 is getting at. The game isn't released so assessing it is premature.
