Don't get "Nervy", alright. Just because you failed to showcase yourself as a smart-a$$ doesn't mean you have to open a personal case against me.
or because it doesn't do enough to woo the new-age COD fanatics?
"Unless you're a longtime fan of the franchise, it might not be worth hopping behind the wheel."
Well Twisted Metal isn't like Call of Duty and as such Sony hasn't whored the TM franchise name out to the casual gaming population on an annual basis, so logically why would it be targeted for any gamers other than the longtime fans?
It is a piece mad...
Just off the top of my head, David Jaffe has been the proprietor of two of the most prominent Playstation franchises of all time: God of War and Twisted Metal.
In preparation of your response, don't talk the stereotypical anti-sony argument "didn't sell x-million amount of copies in one day". Talk quality. The quality of the software, and not the effectiveness of the PR Marketing, is what really holds true to hardcore gamers.
Edit: I jus...
It's really only unattractive women in their late 30's and 40's that are past their expiration date that complain about things like this.
How about second day? Is that better?
No problem with it, but it just goes to show that there are so many p*ssified men these days...well still.
Bottom Line: "Girlfriends" are for guys that prefer consistency over quality. If a man lets a woman brow-beat him into not doing what he wants to do, like playing video games in this case, than he's a p*ssy with no game and little to no confidence.
If you are desperate enough to saddle up with one single woman and have such little confi...
Why not ME3???
Is it against N4G policy to compare Western RPGs against Japanese RPGs??? How is that irrelevant? Why don't N4G users like you just take the extra step and say it is irrelevant to compare PS3 games against Xbox 360 or Wii games??? Is that not "relevant" according to your apparent parameters?
Or is it that just unofficial N4G fanboy policy?
What is your idea or expectation of a "legit reason"?
Have I in some way offended you? Despite the fact that my comment was not geared toward you...unless you're a fanboy in denial.
for this disappointing RPG would be better used towards the purchase of Mass Effect 3.
Let me preempt all the radical "You're an Xbox Fanboy. You love Western RPGs. You hate Japanese RPGs" comments right now...Mass Effect is a great IP in its own right and ME 3 is coming out for PS3, and not just Xbox 360.
and I couldn't finish it. Not because it was challenging or difficult. It's because it just wasn't a good game, IMO.
FFXIII-2 is a letdown. The paradigms basically play the freaking game for you. Now how fun is that to a long-time RPG enthusiast like myself? I just deleted the demo from my ps3 harddrive and continued playing Mass Effect 2.
@GraveLord
Nice blind assumption there bucko, but no. Just because I favor ONE "W...
I expect them to swallow their pride and go ahead and accept Blu-Ray as their next-gen format.
I mean come on, I don't think Microsoft is that stubborn to continue with "DVD" and think that they will earn some kind of victory over the real gamers and "The Media".
If they do, then they are thinking the way Nintendo did against Sega in the early 90's.
will not translate into, as you said, "massive" PS Vita sales.
And I will tell you why. Because even though the Vita's revolutionary (for a handheld console) dual-stick control scheme is suitable for FPS's. I would MUCH prefer the Vita to be known for much more the "FPS Handheld". Which I am sure the massive COD community will label it as such if Call of Duty software sales for the Vita are as great.
This is one main reason I favor the Killzone property over the COD property. Killzone at least lets players choose spawn points across the map rather than letting the system choose their spawn points (and in this example, choose their K/D ratio for them).
By this token, sometimes I feel that your ultimate victory (i.e. being #1 in your team in team deathmatch, being #1 in deathmatch) is a random chance that is given to you by the CPU rather than your inherent gaming skills in...
"Player goes 144-4, and legitimately thinks he's setting world records by EXPLOITING A GLITCH."
I had no need to watch the video before I could legitimately claim this player as a real douche.
compared to the most recent Nintendo portable. Nintendo has pretty much dominated the portable handheld market for about 20 years. Falling just 50k short of Nintendo in that market (Japan), in that industry (portable console gaming) in a launch window of just TWO DAYS, really isn't much. I'd definitely say this is grasping.
Also not to mention the reported shortages, which no doubt had an effect on debut sales numbers. But yeah, whatever. Deh Vita Is Doomed! Just like...
then you obviously have no real game and little to no self-confidence.
Like Tom Leykis says: "Girlfriends are for guys who prefer 'consistency' over 'quality'"
You would rather give into the demands of some needy, demanding, over-powering b*tch because you feel that you can't get any better. If you knew you could get better women, then why would you make such a comment and feel that such a compromise is a matter of nature, rather...
"If you have a girlfriend who isn’t a gamer, good luck trying to get it (Twisted Metal) to play on that day (February 14)."
In other words, if you are a P*ssy who lets some b*tch control your life and what you do, don't buy it on launch day.
"I did/was X, then I took an arrow to the knee".
Props to Bethesda. They have created an internet meme similar to the Chuck Norris meme, at least it seems so on Youtube.
A man named Sebastian Moss purchased a launch Playstation 3, had it for 1729 days, and it died. Now here we are in this article.
To all the predatory MS fanboys here, 1729 days is significantly better than a great majority of you can claim from buying a launch Xbox 360.
Which indicates to me that the new Twisted Metal has fallen into one of those categories of "If you like it, you like it. If you hate, you hate". Basically if you dig car-combat, you'll enjoy this new piece of software. If you don't, then continue playing Skyrim or MW3.
