But what you don't consider is the fact that Xbox 360 sycophants take high sales figures alot more seriously than the PS3 loyalists. Xbox 360 fanboys see that as the de facto measure of success, so when people talk of Alan Wake and Forza's "disappointing" sales numbers, they are simply applying the same ruling measure as the Xbox 360 fanboys. It seems MS fanboys want to have it both ways and are being hypocritical.
I'm not trying to say that "redeems" R3 in anyway. R3 is a great game regardless, but I have to bring that up just because I don't think this source hadn't taken that into consideration. This source seems to have only considered September sales numbers for R3.

If the Playstation 3 doesn't have a strong hold or have the lead in a particular category, that category is the de facto measure of success.
First it was games at the beginning of this gen. Now that the PS3 dominates that category, the gaming media and all the fanboys on its payroll care little to nothing for games.
The de facto morphed into sales. Now that the Playstation 3 is poised to take that trophy and earn the lead, are we now coincidentally seeing...

That would be an advantage for the PS3 version. They would stop giving Activision millions of dollars in free money, and Activision doesn't want that.
I only inferred such treatment to PS3 exclusives, which seem to be held to a higher standard than Xbox 360 exclusives by most "popular" online media outlets.
You certainly don't see such drastic, knee-jerk reactions to Xbox 360 exclusives...no matter how sparse they are.

I'm speaking genuinely here. Is MW3 just a rabbit hop over Black Ops and MW2 or has any significant modifications and improvements in the game (i.e. multiplayer) been done to warrant the full price...this year?
and take advantage of the Buy Two, Get One Free promo on Amazon and buy Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, and Batman: Arkham City.
With those games now in my collection and by the time I'm through with those great games, I won't even consider buying MW3 until it hits the $40 benchmark, at least.
and with them launching a year ahead of Sony this gen, it's no surprise they post positive figures now.

Is MW3 only coming out for Xbox 360 on 11/8 or is it simply Microsoft paying millions to buy exclusive advertising tags - again - on third-party titles to try and recover some kind of advantage over the Playstation 3?

One idea that immediate pops up is the back story and saga of Deimos, Kratos's brother. Just like how the next MGS takes the perspective of a supporting character like Raiden, GOW4 can be the exact same thing.
If so, then why isn't Catwoman being subjugated in a form that is reserved to nothing but a helpless, impressionable character that cannot act alone?
If you have played AC, you know that Catwoman is certainly not helpless, and is a strong character that holds her own.

If you can relate to people like me, you are grown up, you have a good job, you don't rely on your birth-givers to supply your every need, and you can go and buy a $250-$300 console without putting it on credit and without flinching.
