IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey was fucking awesome, anybody who hasn't tried it should go buy it right now.
No more than 15$ here, that's all I'll pay.
And, while the game's graphics were indeed appealing, and still are, there are far better examples of being "ahead of its time", graphics-wise.
Jet Set/Grind Radio and Wind Waker come to mind.
You know, you're kind of overreacting.
After playing games for years and years, Heavy Rain's story doesn't even comes near being considered "good", at least in my eyes.
Ah, whatever, this movie-game mixup can be pretty entertaining sometimes, but that's about it
I agree, Kamiya.
I agree.
The game already came out in Japan, however.
Last year.
Repetitive dungeon crawling, bland gameplay, a male filter, fanservice in tons, and a completly interesting, creative, and absolutely hilarious idea?
...Goddammit, Japan. You've done it again.
Every list that includes Fallout 3 is completly retarded and should not be taken seriously, in my humble opinion.
Moreover, including Oblivion in the same list is not only common, but also being completly idiotic.
In my humble opinion, again.
They aren't giving Deus Ex much respect, though.
Hell, even in the Forums, the Admin had to ask people to stop talking (well, more like badmouthing) the game and how it was getting "up with the times".
This means, of course, Health Regeneration, Cover Systems, etc.
In fact, many old Deus Ex fans are getting pissed off because Human Revolution looks like a generic first person shooter, and how the development teams bullshits thei...
...However, I believe I should mention that Dragon Knight Saga more than made up for it, and that was released this year, as well.
That aside, this is a fairly...standard list, I guess. Although I'd dare to disagree with the overall best RPG of the year, according to this list.
You're not the only one. I'm a sad bear now.
And it's even sadder than up to this day, Capcom still hasn't announced Gene as a fighter, as well.
Guess we'll have to wait for Super Alpha Marvel vs Capcom 3.
Developers nowadays are well known for catering a certain fanbase and tailoring videogames that "click" with people's needs instead of giving two shits about it and simply focusing on making a good game.
But, ah well.
...The gameplay flow looks pretty fast paced, huh.
I was in doubt the time I heard "puzzle platformer", but this doesn't looks too bad.
Let us not forget that Russia isn't a part of the Soviet Union anymore, so these "in soviet hurr" jokes aren't even applicable these days.
So wait, you'd rather lean foward/backwards to walk/run, and use your arms to control the camera, instead of just moving a single joystick around with your thumb/use WASD?
The fuck?
You know, the dude already said he isn't just going to copypaste a movie into a game, since games let you do much more than that. He's aware that videogames usually allow a different kind of storytelling compared to movies, and he wants to take full advantage of that.
And yes, Guillermo del Toro is Mexican, not Spanish.
You've never owned one of these pillows, have you?
They're glorious, GLORIOUS I tell ya.
Funny, I see them as a bad, BAD thing.
BioWare, instead of doing what a GOOD developer does, and fixing the flaws their older games had, instead decide to simply take out EVERYTHING THAT COULD COME OFF AS SIGHTLY CONFUSING. And then take out some more.
There's no doubt Dragon Age 2 will probably be enjoyable, but I can't lie saying than those changes are made for a greater good. It just makes BioWare seem like a bunch of lazy assholes in my eyes.
It's not like this is Ar Tonelico, after all.
Both are equal pieces of useless hardware that aren't worth half what they cost.
That is the only right answer.
