But COLE, bro. COLE.
"I liked the platforming since I never had to worry about missing a platform and falling to my death allowing me to gracefully jump from platform to platform looking like an expert."
THIS is also why people hated Enslaved's platforming.
The combat was still basic after the upgrades, however. The graphics had a few glitches.
That aside, the game was pretty sweet. Just too goddamn easy.
I got out of that list:
Enslaved, Darksiders, Resonance of Fate, Metro 2033 and Deadly Premonition.
I should get both Yakuza 3 and Castlevania: Lords of Shadows sometime next year (hopefully).
Am I a good guy?
The PSP is dead in NA, and you can't really deny that.
However, in Japan at least, it's kinda different.
Goddamn sequel hook, I tell ya.
Edit:
Also, the article has a mistake:
Ar Tonelico 3 ALREADY came out in Japan, January 28th of this year. It'll come out next year here in NA, rumored to be 'round March.
Not only that, for North America, there's a chance Atelier Totori, sequel to Atelier Rorona, that basically fixed everything you could dislike in the first one (Well, excluding alchemy-centric gameplay) is going to come ou...
But REPLAY VALUE!
@ThanatosDMC
Yes, I know.
Although I feel J.C. Staff did an horrible job with the Anime's script, making it seem cliche-ridden and completly stupid, at least most of the time.
The novels are kinda better, I tell ya. Well, at least since they're better written and showcase character's emotions better without having to rely to moralfag cliche speechs or tsunderes.
Moreover, what I...
All those games seem pretty...lame, though.
I wouldn't waste 100$ on a peripheral just to play those games.
@visualb
He said that, so far, all of his "Move" games are on PSN. And yes, SO FAR, however, said games look pretty lame.
And, after that opinion, another opinion comes in: I wouldn't get a peripheral (or well, more like a set of) like Move just to play those games. It doesn't seems worth it, at ...
I don't even have to point out the complete stupidity that your statement bases itself on.
..."Thanks Sony" for something you paid for?
Thank you for the compliment about the name/avatar.
But, quite frankly, I've already played Mass Effect 2, and I didn't like the first Little Big Planet- while I also have kind of a gut feeling about the second that tells me "you won't like this game".
...Which is why I'm getting neither, and I can't see how that makes me "fail" at being a gamer.
For a digital copy? When you can actually find a physical, new one for half of that?
Oh dear.
Neither.
Five hundred, ninety nine U.S. dollars!
Honestly, I doubt it'll be that powerful. Well, unless it costs a shitload of money. And then more.
No wonder all the male characters look like fags.
Anyways, Square Enix is only good at pretty graphics. And, honestly, keep in mind an RPG is way more expensive to make, compared to an action game.
Hell, remember that, in cinematics alone, an RPG already covers the overall game length of most of the action/adventure/shooting games this generation.
Story? Ha! I doubt it. Just look at FFXIII. Add Nomura to the mix, and you got the most stupid, ...
"Hurrr townz in HD r too hardz!"
Remember that?
Yeah.
Youth these days...
X-COM was a turn-based strategy game. In fact, it's still one of the best strategy games out there.
...And I fucking hate the "HUUUURRR FPS!" shit they did.
@acedoh
Exactly, I don't even know why it has "X-COM" in the title.
Although I don't think a game like X-COM would be well-recieved nowadays, you would hear complaints about the steep learning curve, difficulty, etc, etc, etc.
I doubt it'll make people FORGET about Gears (Not that I like Gears of War, though...).
However, it looks pretty damn awesome, so I'll probably get it sometime next year.
It just wouldn't be a Tetsuya Nomura game.
Square Enix has published and developed awesome games that include little to none zippers, belts and emo bullshit.
