Lego City is the first game I bought since launch. Yes there is plenty of stuff to play but not every game will appeal to every person. I played Monster Hunter and happened to just not like it that much...
Yeah. No way Disney will not cash in on episode VII with at least one game.
If he says he isn't, then he isn't. Why would they lie about it? Fans (well, most of them) are really going mad over this, some are even saying they won't buy it...
Personally I wouldn't want all that backlash just for a joke (or a Joakim)
It's GTA dude, even the release dates have release dates .
I agree. I was browsing the comments here while playing Tekken Tag 2, which prompted me to give the 3D a go on it for the first time since I bought it. Dusted off the 3D goggles and yep... What would you know, it looks poor. Frame rate takes a huge hit and the game just looks poor. Nowhere near good enough to do the game's otherwise fantastic graphics any justice.
I do agree with the other guy, though. If you are going to watch enough films it is worth buying into, becaus...
Okay why is everyone getting 3DTV for PS4? I had one for almost two years and never use the 3D for PS3 gaming. It always looks worse in 3D or doesn't support it at all.
I always give 3D a go when I get a game that happens to support it but I could count the ones I thought looked truly good in 3D on one hand... Not very impressive considering I have had it for two years.
I will say it is good for films (even then, not all the time) but unless Sony have pro...
PS3 was £420 I believe... Doubt it will be any more than £380 this time. No one took the PS3 price seriously, you either had half a grand to throw away on a PlayStation and were buying it regardless of how much it would cost, or had no choice but to wait for price cuts.
Just hope it isn't delayed in the UK like PS3 was. Otherwise I'ma be playing AC4 and Watch Dogs on PS3 and while I don't mind that, I'd rather get them on PS4 launch to start off my collection and ensure I have enough to play on it.
True. But the thing is Hayter already HAS been voicing Big Boss, he only didn't in MGS4 for obvious reasons.
He should be in this one though.
I get what you're saying, I mean if they ever (Heavens forbid) remade MG / MG2 then he'd have to have a different actor to Snake but then in that case Hayter shouldn't have voiced BB in all the other games...
Agree.
This is the FIRST time in the entire MGS franchise that I've been disappointed over something in a new game.
No. There's a reason. We just don't know the reason yet.
It might just be that Kojima wanted to change things a bit but this is Hideo Frikin' Kojima we are talking about... I don't think Konami would have done this without expecting huge fan backlash. It just doesn't make sense, doesn't add up.
Either Hayter is in the game as someone else or... I dunno but I do know that it would be foolish of them to switch for no decent reason.
I don't know of many forty-something year olds who go through nine year comas, either. But I would bet they would sound different after, if they did.
Solidus was actually the perfect clone of Big Boss, he was more identical to him than Solid was. Yet he sounded completely different.
... They CAN keep doing prequels. There is tons of room for potential backstory.
But yeah Hayter will reprise the role in the future I'm sure.
Either this is the biggest troll in gaming (I.E Phantom Pain takes place nine years after Ground Zeroes, therefore Hayter will only voice him during GZ and not The Phantom Pain where he wakes up from his coma with a changed voice... or there is a legit reason, either way I'm pretty neutral on the matter.
A little research BEFORE commenting led me to the official site of the series. And from what I can tell, here are a few interesting (maybe?) facts.
1) This will only be released in Japan.
2) Unlike other football / soccer games, the reason this will be successful in Japan is that it focuses on J-league football.
3) What sets it apart is that it is a game where you create your own team with in the J-league and get to take them from the bottom ...
I don't get it, the game is £40 on ShopTo and will be delivered on release date. I use ShopTo for buying all my games and while I think it will be a sad day when have literally HAVE to buy our games online only... I just can't justify the extra price and inconvenience of buying from a retailer like GAME.
Tip - if you sell a game at... GAME... They will give you £5 extra if you put it toward a pre order.
I sold DOA5 in there the other day now that it is free on PS+ and was amazed... I actually ENJOYED going in there! The store had been moved around to make more space, for one.
Sold DOA5 for £33 and the guy was like "You can get £38 if you pre order". So £38, put £5 on Bioshock which I can cancel and claim back after Tuesday....
it's worth keeping for the decent exclusives. Multiplats either don't release on it or are lesser versions, though.
For this price I'd say its worth it, can't quite justify launch price yet though...
From what I gather of the demo and reviews, the only "problem" is that it is not as OTT on "epicness" as 3 was. Would you say that is the case?
The reason I haven't got it yet is that I'm actually playing God of War HD from PS Plus right now and want to finish it before I get Ascension.
Not sure whether to pick up Tomb Raider or Ascension this week...
Not really. I have a WII U and just happen to not be interested in either of those games. But then Lego City is great.
I see the WII U as such. It's worth having for the exclusives, even if not all of them are games you are interested in.
I mean something like MGSV or Last Of Us obviously is different. You have these epic stories that really drag you in with stunning graphics. But WII U games feel like more traditional, almost "Old School" games and why...
