I have two of the anniversary edition controllers. Paid $120 a piece for the but I don't want to use them cause I don't want them to wear so I just keep them in PS4 controller cases. The only time I actually use them is if I'm playing a PS1 game on my Raspberry Pi.
I miss the old logo.
1/A) Bloodborne
1/B) Nioh 2
Haven't played Ghosts Of Tsushima yet. Will have to get back on that one.
It annoys the crap out of me that Ms absolutely refuses to compete with Sony. Give me a good damn reason to buy the new Xbox. It would only make console gaming better. As it stands I'm just gonna pick up a one S for KI and all the first gen Xbox games that are awesome and the few 360 games that are worth playing.
Really looking forward to playing this game. I started playing Nioh 2 a couple of weeks before this came out so its currently keeping me away from this.
AC1 was the only game in the series that had truly memorable assassination scenarios. Its also the only one that had a hard gameplay focus on those assassinations. Every game since has been progressively more watered down with dumb stuff busy work for gameplay filler. AC2 and AC:BF were decent but they lack the assassination focus of the first title. AC1 isn't perfect but its a damn good game. All it really needed to fix was the pre-canned method of gathering information, add a day/night ...
This series had a great start but they failed to recognize its strength. It has been going downhill ever since.
I wouldn't pay attention to the number of disagrees. Its just a meaningless number without comments to back them up.
Dude, Dante's design was bad in DmC. Then the game came out and it turned out the story was trash and the gameplay was weak by DMC standards. That wasn't us moving the goal post. That was a naturally unfolding series of events.
I guess its too much to ask for a new Midnight Club.
All I saw was GT7, Ratchet & Clank, and Demon Souls. Can't wait to see the first iteration of Ace Combat on PS5.
This is a ridiculously childish statement.
@DreadGara
Story sucks, bro. That much is true. But it wasn't heavy handed sjw shit at all Thats actually one of the few things things they did mostly right.
@Redemption-64
Yeah, Druckman wrote TLoU. I'm just wondering what happened to all that writing skill between P1 and P2. Ultimately he tried something new and I can respect the effort. But something being new isn't enough. It has to be new and good. Otherwise it falls flat.
The protagonist became just like her because of her. The difference between Ellie and Abby is that Ellie's quest for vengeance is justified while Abby's vengeance comes from the fact that someone wouldn't let someone else murder a little girl.
I thoroughly enjoyed getting Abby killed. Especially by the infected. The bridge sniper section was pretty awesome too. I hate that bitch.
The leaker is a true hero.
Yeah, bro. People should totally feel stupid if they expected Naughty Dog to construct a decent story. At least we know better now, huh?
The worst part about it was the game trying to humanize Abby after she killed Joel. It just wasn't possible to do, especially after the way she did it. So they just had the player playing as an irredeemable villain for almost the entire second half of the game. I did love the bridge sniper segment though. At least towards the end of it anyway. But thats kinda the point. How are we supposed to enjoy playing as a character when many, if not most of us were rooting for the opposing team. Eve...
@S2Killinit
I actually wasn't going to play it but after the leaks hit, I had to see this train wreck for myself.
@FirstSonOfKrypton
The story is weak as hell. Doesn't hold up to the original at all. The backlash has nothing to do with its politics. One of the few things it managed to do right was in NOT preaching its politics too hard so we can go ahead and lay that straw man to rest right now.
Have you seen G.I. Joe: Resolute? I think its about as close as it gets to perfect for G.I. Joe.
