Dead Space isn't survival horror. There were no survival mechanics. No resource limitations. It was a full on action game. it is definitely a horror game also but that doesn't mean it's survival horror.
This is a great point. The original RE is an actual survival horror game. There was nothing like it on ps1 at the time. It spawned a genre. RE4 was an action game that came out in a market saturated with action games. Cold Fear, which was extremely similar to re4 in many ways, was actually in development at the same time on the other side of the world and came out just 2 months after re4 was released with better controls.
What guy?
I thought it said Commando 2&3... like the nes games. I am very disappointed
I'll respect it if the game they make earns my respect. Fixed cameras is the only style that allows the devs to apply actual cinematography to a video game camera, outside of cutscenes. Something that is particularly useful with horror games. Fixed cameras were never used in Silent Hill out of necessity as they were all fully 3D rendered games. If i remember correctly, SH 1-4 used them almost exclusively for indoor environments. Only using them outdoors sparingly, but to great effect. The...
it needs the fixed camera as an option, not an unlock
Yeah man. Those scalpers will have quite the collection of ps5s when all is said and done
More precisely, that said creator is not getting any better at subtlety. Something he kind of really sucks at. Its why I always thought he was a bad fit for Silent Hill.
They might mean that, as time goes on, they both stray farther and farther from their roots. I don't know, I stopped clicking links off this site years ago.
Are single frame links back or what?
That along with several other GT2 tracks that haven't gotten any love since the 90s. Red Rocks and Grindelwald come to mind immediately. I'm sure there are others.
Thats the only bad aspect of the original game
I would pay real money for a proper survival horror Evil Dead game. I dont think that would work so much for KK cause that movie is pure 80s comedy but they could still do a proper single player game for the fanchise.
@Orchard MGSV was the closest the series ever came to being a proper stealth game. Maybe it wasn't a good MGS game as those games went. I'll never knock a MGS series fan for not liking it cause I understand the complaints but for me it was my favorite one besides MG2:SS and MGS1
He gave it a 3/4. Thats a good score no matter how you look at it.
A new, proper Tenchu game would be nice. They've already said they're working on the next Armored Core title.
Yeah, I like purple. Even have a guitar with a custom purpleburst finish. Extremerate has better options for controller shells though. You can get 100% transparent purple shell, plus about 50 other transparent color options. You just have to be able to break a ps5 controller down and rebuild build it with the new shell. takes about 10 mins. BTW longtime no see neonridr. hope you're doing well.
I love that 20th anniversary controller.
Its really good. Once I got used to the perspective I couldn't stop playing. The you can't relax around downed enemies unless you use a flare on them. There's always a chance that they'll re-animate.
