I agree that Ethan is a generic character but thats the most generic reason that Ive heard anyone give as to why hes generic. There's plenty of real gripes to bring up about Ethan as a character.

Therein lies the problem with RE7. I'm all for new characters being injected into RE but bringing in generic nothing characters like Ethan does nothing for the game.
RE3's problem wasn't that it was not as good as RE2 Remake but that it wasn't as good as the original RE3. In the end, in the mind of many, it was just a pointless remake that wasn't worth the time or money spent.
Been messing around with the tutorial on H2. As much as I love stealth/sneaking I can't believe I've overlooked this series for so long.
Hopefully he left someone behind who understood him and understood what the world lost when he died. To quote my own father, "its always been you and me, son". I hope he had that with someone.

Or in the remake when you go to the balcony that leads to library and Yawn is suddenly on your ass but you don't see it till you get that first camera change after the music kicks in.
I would kill for a proper new Tenchu game in the spirit of the first 2 games. Unfortunately FromSoft owns Tenchu and the og devs, Acquire, are not affiliated with them.
Hopefully its NGBlack, OG NG 2, and NG3 RE. Those are much better than the Sigma versions or the original NG3.

yeah, the inventory system just destroys the game's flow. Especially on the first playthrough where you don't know what you're going to need to keep close by in any given area.
I remember it. I still own NC1&2 on ps1. The real question is: who remembers Alundra?
Unfortunately, according to the nintendo direct its going to be the sigma versions. I don't know why they would do that. NGBlack and og NG2 are far superior games.
