I'd have to say yes. I put off buying a ps4 until something was on it that I wanted to play, that game being MKX. Zelda, on the other hand, is day one gold.

You don't have to wait. Just make the offering and back out of the menu. Visitors can come as long as you don't press X to cancel while inside the menu.

Or rather, the narrative needs to fit the design of the game. Game design is the central pillar of video games. Everything else should compliment it, not the other way around.

Don't put your credit card or bank debit card on your psn. Use psn cards or gift cards only. If you get hacked Sony will hold you accountable for those purchases even if they know you were hacked. If you have your bank cancel and withdraw the charges, Sony will suspend your account until you pay them back, even if there is no uncertainty that you were hacked and did not make those purchases.

Rainbow Six: Siege with single player & campaign co-op? Not a bad thought.

I can think of several games that are scarier than Silent Hill 2, but I can't think of any horror games that are better.

That game was crazy.

Assuming the consumer doesn't have particular tastes and just consumes everything that is put in front of them. Whats good is subjective. I for instance, have played more retro games this gen because I can count the number of games from this gen, that I liked, on both hands. I don't expect Sony to think everyone is like me, cause they're not. They sure as hell shouldn't expect everyone to be like you, cause they're not.

Its not that way in Bloodborne. The parts you can co-op, you can co-op first time on both ends.

@Goldby

To say that people just wanted it to be easy is ignorant and reductive thinking. Theres nothing wrong with making co-op harder, but putting this kind of restriction on it is a bad move. Some people buy games just for co-op, and going by the demo this was going to be a good game for it. I wouldn't buy or play Halo without co-op, just cause its not fun for me without a friend, and that game is easy to solo. I guess its a good thing I like this game in general, but...

In Bloodborne you don't have to have already defeated the boss to help another player, you just have to be able to ring the resonant bell, which you can do pretty freely. As long as the potential host hasn't beaten the boss in an area, and have at least 1 insight, they can ring the beckoning bell, and the resonant bell ringer just has to have access to the same area.

"There is no reason Gamestop can't limit preorders to their limit"

I see no real evidence that they oversold Switch pre-orders.

Its apples to oranges, its not an opinion. You're comparing a game series that has had a game release every 12 months since 2003, to a series that has only had an occurrence of annual release once, out of six games, along with one occurence of 2 games coming out in one year, one of those being the remake of the original. Besides, the only time Ive heard RE fans get salty about CoD was with Capcom when they decided to chase trends with RE4 and up, which is what Capcom did here with the fir...

"What I take away from all of this is that a lot of you don't want things to change but bitch when they don't at the same time."

Dude, you're comparing a game that gets annual releases with a game that hasn't seen a proper sequel since 2002. Not exactly the same thing.

Looks just like my best friend, except NN isn't losing his hair.

Its beside the the point. The game has a SP mode and does not have dedicated servers. Why put an expiration date on a game for the sake of DRM when they know pirates will have no problem cracking it. By their own admission, all they are doing is punishing their paying customers and its just insulting. Not to mention it'll be a worse deal if they game actually turns out to be decent. Its not like the original SW Battlefront on ps2 where you can still play it to this day, even online. This ...

"Unfortunately, Nintendo has proven time and again over the last decade or so that they lack the expertise to design competitive gaming hardware"

12 year olds slap budget PCs together all the time. It doesn't require any real expertise. The Switch is an intentional move.

Bloodborne has a 92 on metacritic. 99 positive reviews (including 15 perfect scores and 74 scores that are 90 and above), 1 mediocre review. Kinda throws a wrench into the "more reviewers makes it impossible to get 90+ scores" theory, especially with such a hardcore 'niche' title.

The dirty little secret here is that a niche title has a better chance of being a better game, just because its made to cater towards a smaller, more manageable list of particul...

Zelda, Fast RMX & Mario Kart 8 are the only games I'm buying in the first couple of months for Switch. I have a PS4 as well and I have no good reason to spend more on a game just cause its on the Switch.
