@andibandit Your talking more about Japanese games with anime aesthetics. Games like Ace Combat, Gran Turismo, and Resident Evil are also Japanese games. I kinda feel ya on the Anime thing though. I haven't been a fan since the days of Cowboy Bebop, Berserk, and Rouroni Kenshin. I think Ghost in The Shell was the last show that I really liked. Modern pop anime just seems overly fruity to me. I will say that Persona 5 isn't nearly as stereotypical as it seems. I'd recommend that to...

Those numbers come from Nintendo's official earnings documents. Page 3, first paragraph, last sentence.

MK8 online seems fine to me. Lack of integrated voice chat is a problem, but just in terms playability, online is pretty stable, so far.
People love their franchises, not to mention, Nintendo manages to do mostly quality sequels. I'd love it if Sony released a Twisted metal game on par with Twisted Metal 2 or a GT game on par with GT4. Nintendo does do new franchises too, but their approach is to add them to their collection of franchises as opposed to abandoning all the franchises that their fans love.

VGChartz... not to mention, everyone else.

The Switch sold 2.74 mil units in the month of march. We don't have the numbers for April yet. Switch isn't any harder to find than a ps4 was at this point in its life.
Souls-likes are action games, with some rpg elements, and FFXV is a western rpg with some jrpg elements.
But they are not JRPGs
The game struck me as more of a souls-like than a jrpg.
When I'm in first place I pretty much go into full panic mode unless I have a banana or two handy.
The game has towers. They just happen to be giant mechanical giraffes with saucer heads. Thats the most obvious trope this game shares with ubisoft/assassin's creed & modern open world games, in general.
It really depends on how many characters come in the basic package package and how many come with the DLC, and the price. SF5, while decent mechanically, was a total ripoff. I bought the Deluxe addition on sale for $40, and I still feel ripped off. Tekken 3 is the gold standard for how to do character/costume unlocks IMO.
We need a burnout game with guns and open arena combat.
The hillbilly horror tropes and the first person camera killed it for me. Returnable, used copy FTW. Hopefully RE2 remake is actually faithful to the original with no ots or fp crap.
@Kleptic There is nothing objective about the point system. In fact, making a value judgement, which the point system represents, is pretty much the core of subjectivity. While I agree that mainstream gaming media is questionable (like when Mitch Dyer gives a seemingly bloated review score for SW Battlefront, and now hes working for EA and writing for Battlefront 2) It doesn't mean everyone is on the take.
If you want a star fragment, be on the dueling peaks southern peak on a full moon, between 10pm-2am. Look to the east and one will fall in your field of view. Use the tower to transport after you mark the fragments location.

Time is one of the issues. I'd rather devs not take quit so much time to pump out out new games.
How does it take away the need for the dock? I don't see any hdmi outputs on it.
With this game, I don't think it matters.
I am very cautious where Capcom is concerned, after SFV.
