It'd be useful if it worked like a phone screen and you could easily rotate, zoom and scan across items, or a map. It'd have to be a bit bigger to do that comfortably though unless you had fingers like matches.
I'll be getting this. I like to have a mix of different games on the go and this will fill the indie niche nicely.
It's by the team who made Sundered and that was a quality game.
Why is the distinction between game and non game companies important? Why are you fine with buying Chinese products in general but not computer games?
Can't say I'm concerned about a company I've never heard of buying a majority stake of another company that makes games I've barely heard of. Even if I was a massive fan of God Eater or whatever there's no reason to assume that it won't be business as usual just because there are new investors.
What's next, he jumps out of your wardrobe.
Some fair points in the article despite the over the top headline which implies Sony are one mistake away from disaster.
Actions speak louder than words and I'm sure Sony have many great surprises lined up for us, they just do things at their own pace.
FF12 and FF13 even more so. Haven't bothered with FF15 as a result.
Sounds like an acute case of envy.
Of all the things I expected people to cook up to criticise this game for, I never thought the art style would be one. It looks beautiful and I mean in an arty way not graphical detail.
I don't mind 30fps if it's consistent and doesn't lag when there's a lot going on or it's auto saving. I think that should be something that the PS5 should be able to achieve at the least.
Exactly, the Saxons who helped fight against the Vikings were themselves originally invaders from another land who did the same as the Vikings, just earlier.
It appears to have square sticky out bits rather than circular, dunno if that's enough to avoid legal issues.
It does seem like more of an Xbox game than PS but the difference in sales wouldn't have been significant. Wrong game at the wrong time simple as that.
I've got no problem with them glorifying the Vikings, doesn't sound like they're rewriting history just showing it from a different perspective and that's fine.
I would love an open world game based on The Last Kingdom though, it'd be great to play as Uhtred and enjoy a bit of patriotism.
@ xenz
Yep really, it's an incredible game if you enjoy the genre. Something genuinely special that comes along very rarely.
What would you put forwards?
Agreed about Resi 7 and good shouts for the others, I think Cyberpunk is going to be amazing.
At this point though Bloodborne is the GotG for me.
There are few RPGs that handle action well but if they do then that's the best way for me. Imagine Dark Souls with turn based gameplay, it'd be serviceable but it would be lacking a lot of what makes the series great.
I think Cyberpunk is going to set a new standard but games like that are very rare.
Every console has its merits but I can't imagine not having a PS. For my tastes it has the best games and it's not even close.
I'd like to see a lot more buildings you can enter, many of them big enough to host lengthy missions in. My favourite bits of Fallout 3 were exploring the supermarket and the like but there weren't really enough of them and the level design was never anything to write home about.
Variety is nice. Turn a game like F3 into a tense corridor shooter for a while, turn it into a horror game for the odd mission, throw in some comedy quests. The Witcher 3 was great at that...
Divinity OS is one of those games that is very well regarded but whenever I watch a review or gameplay it doesn't look like enjoyable. It's one of those that's more fun to play than it is to watch, right? Or should I not bother if what I've seen doesn't interest me beyond liking well made RPGs.
