I think the point that CDPR were making is that missions are going to be very flexible and not the sort of thing where you fail them for overly fussy little things like not standing in the glowing circle when you're told to.
I haven't played RDR2 yet but I've seen a lot of complaints about having to do missions exactly the way Rockstar want you to or it's an insta fail, not so in Cyberpunk apparently.
One of the most boring games I've played in recent years. To be fair I don't think MMO's are for me but even so it's bland in every way.
I thought that was how everyone gamed.
Fair play to them neither one of them naturally sounds anything like their characters from Uncharted but they absolutely nail the roles. Troy Baker in particular it's hard to imagine where he pulls the voice for Sam from.
It's just envy, to be pitied nothing more.
Not a fan of the genre but this does look sexy. I bet it'll be great in VR.
Seems to be an issue around a lot of gay characters on tv or in films/games dying, does it happen more often than straight characters? I don't think so, not from what I've seen and I've seen a fair bit.
Whatever you think about that Naughty Dog certainly aren't going to make decisions about their characters because of some trope. They're a lot better than that.
The people doing it are free to demonstrate their racism and Rockstar are equally free to tell them to stfu and get lost. Seems fair.
The game is ancient, and the longer ago you first played it the older it seems, but there are loads of young people who haven't played it yet and will be all over it on PS5.
Their insistence on carrying on with the same map makes me wonder if the plan is to keep it on as part of the online map of GTA6 and add to it.
Every now and then something comes along that's not just original but is also fun to play and this looks like one of those rare times.
Looks like it's going to be decent with some of the ol' polish.
I figured that Rockstar must have slipped them a few quid to get it on first. I agree it was a dodgy way to start the show off.
With the way things are at the moment I highly doubt that being labelled as racist would be a good PR move for anyone let alone an indie dev.
It's a shame that they've had to change it but I'm not going to hold it against them, it's not their fault the world is what it is.
It's society that's the problem not the devs, why would an indie dev want unnecessary controversy when they can easily change it. It's not like the appearance of those enemies is a core part of the game.
Seems pretty childish to throw your toys out of the pram and crap on the devs over an issue like this.
It hasn't proved anything but it all looks like business as usual and we know what that means. I haven't seen anything to suggest that anything is going to change. Sony are on the ball as usual.
She seems to forget that it's a game as well as a story. The criticisms that the violence is unexplained (until later on in the story when according to her it is) and there are too many optional collectibles don't seem worth knocking two points off to me.
I would have thought not having any reason to explore the level beyond progressing the story would have been more of a problem and do we really need a considered reason to explain every act of violence in an adult...
I can imagine if Tarantino made a game it'd be like this.
Big fan of the art style and how the gameplay looks.
Things need to evolve to change with the times and it's not a bad thing. By the time the eighth game in a franchise rolls around if they haven't evolved and adapted from the original formula it'd be stale as f.
Looked great to me.
Basically boils down to a lot of babies being upset that Sony has produced yet another banger. Those are the people who are making the biggest fuss.
Of course there are also plenty of people with nuanced opinions who have reasonable explanations for what they don't like about it but that's not why the game's being hated on so loudly.
