Doesn't seem unreasonable as these things go. I don't have any objections to deluxe editions with unique skins or even anything more useful. It's not for me but if people are willing to pay for luxury extras then let them.
I'd say Sony is in the best position by far. They've made serious moves into areas like subscription services and GaaS but they're still raking it in from game sales.
Putting all your eggs in one basket has always been a dangerous strategy. Not even high risk high reward just unnecessary risk. Better to keep your options open.

On the one hand it's a bit too heavily inspired by Blasphemous and Bloodborne, on the other it looks amazing, those are two of my favourite games and I'm definitely getting it.
Yeah I'd have guessed around 30% too, quite pleasing that's it's much closer to being even. Probably will be in the near future.
I'm not a fan of Xbox controllers because of the stick position but visually that's a great looking pad. Don't know why everyone's so excited about the "rainbow" it looks good.
Yeah it makes you wonder how much a big AAA game is going to move the needle in terms of subscriptions. I would have thought not much at all but what do I know.
I think I preferred 12 to 13 but I agree with your assessment. It was very bland and not much fun to play.
